I heard that as well. As well as that Spiderwick chronicles will have the teaser before it also.

Ah ok. I really don't want to see that, so I guess I'll drop in while seeing another film for the teaser :)

That kind of bites if it's true. I was hoping for a bigtime Super Bowl commercial. Wouldn't that have been a better stage for a new Indy movie? Oh well, I guess I'll just need to wait two more weeks.

Excellent news on the trailer.

Love the new photo, as someone else pointed out, the horribly fake spider webs are back!

I'm currently using the Struzan wallpaper from the website. And I really believe Spielberg, Lucas, and Ford have given this their best. I'm hoping it's the most enjoyable film of the year.

I know Hook is a massive critical flop, but I can't recall how it did at the box office. Personally, I love that movie. I was 7 or 8 when it came out, so naturally it brings me back to my childhood whenever I see it on TV.

Hook was a blockbuster. It did very well...

However Spielberg himself considers the film a disappointment...something about corporate interference (believe it or not, it was Mattel) clashing with his making of the film.

Im stoked for this movie i just finished watching temple of doom for the first time in a few years and forgot what an amazing adventure it was. They just dont make movies with this level of excitement anymore imo the eighties where the best for these movies.

I had no idea Guy Dyas was doing this film! That's awesome, his set designs are always top notch!

Yeah, Guy Dyas is tops. I really liked what he did with Indy's house. The pictures from the first three movies scattered about the house are a nice touch.

His production design for Superman Returns was my favorite part of the film. His work is always fantastic.

Nice video.

The Indy movies still hold up because they didn't have synthesized scores like 80's movies did. They were always class, and as glad as I am that people are excited that this is coming out, I'm disappointed they never saw the potential until it was announced. Only when the production stills were released did the online haters say, "This will be awesome", when all they had to do was watch the previous three. I always wanted to see this, but standing up for this movie throughout the years was as frustrating as defending Daniel Craig when he was cast as Bond.

Yeah the original Terminator sounds dated because of the music while T2 doesn't.

Ok, so I was just checking out TheRaider.net, and they contacted Paramount about the Indy trailer. Apparently, "at this point no plans have been finalized at all regarding when the trailer will premiere." So between the Super Bowl on Feb 2 and Valentines Day, citing either date would still be speculation. All I know is, if they don't get it out soon, a lot of people will be pissed at the handling of the marketing.

The whip and hat in the closet were pretty cool, too. :indy:

I personally dont think a score can make a movie bad or "hold it up" films like ferris buellers day of are classics just because its a great look at the eighties and more importantly a funny film its the same with films like Batman (1989) and ghostbusters (1984) sure they look dated and have distinctly "eighties" music but they are still great movies.:yay:

And i still think Craig hasnt got the mix of english class and ruthless killer in him to be a great bond.:oldrazz:

Yeah the original Terminator sounds dated because of the music while T2 doesn't.

But does that make T1 a terrible film? Alien is very dated compared to Aliens but is widely regarded as the superior film read my comments on ferris bueller and ghostbusters above, a dated score or special effects doesnt make an inferior movie imo.

Spielberg and lucas have so much power..they will release when they damn well want..like one week before the films premier!

im still expecting it with the superbowl...it would be perfect timing. people of all ages watch the superbowl, so when the younger kids are like whos indiana jones, all the older ones can beat them

Its probably cheaper/beneficial for Paramount that a Paramount owned syndicated entertainment show to air the teaser (probably hyping it up all week) and to attach it to a Paramount movie that was only made to cash in on the fantasy craze that has little buzz.

Its tempting to actually go see The Spiderwick Chronicles to see the trailer instead of an online version. Just to see Indiana Jones on the big screen for the first time with a bunch of other people who probably are seeing the film just to watch the trailer.

Yea i cant wait for the trailer when ever it will be superbowl or feb 15th. Also i really hope we get some good film footage in the trailer too since the film is going to be out soon. I really wished they had the first trailer on thanksgiving/christmas like i originally heard it was going to be. Cant wait to see the trailer and the film in may.

Cheaper maybe, but beneficial, no way. A Super Bowl commercial would get more publicity, attention, hype, etc than any Paramount syndicated entertainment show. Not that a Indy movie needs a ton of pub, but we're all waiting ...:woot:

Yeah who can forget the famous janet jackson nipple controversy? the media acted like she just killed christ.
