INFAMOUS: Second Son

that's no surprise. That usually tends to happen after a game is released and considering First Light is set to drop next week, those brought in for SS are no longer needed

I just checked it and they've since readjusted the price to £15.85

and that better be the same as the digital version, unless the disc's got something the digital doesn't.

should of put this up a while ago

Anyone play the new DLC yet? Wondering if it's worth $15. Seems pricey for DLC, if I'm dropping that much I better get a whole lot of game

Well worth it I my opinion. Loved playing as Fetch and great to see more of her story. The battle arenas are fantastic fun too, especially if you own Second Son - you can use Delsin too. I would definitely buy and play Second Son first though.

How does that work? Do you still have to own SS or will a previous purchase work? I had it and sold it months ago. Will it read my save data and allow me to access Delsin or do I need the disc? Also does he have all his abilities?

I was tempted on FL but I'll probably either wait to purchase it in a GoTY edition or wait for it to be on Plus

inFAMOUS First Light (PS4)

Synopsis: They unleased first light with this stand alone DLC. Stunning visuals it's also a great Stand alone game and it's only 15 bucks. The down side for them was that the story needs work & there are too many familar troupes

Marissa's score 7.0 & Vic's Score 8.0

There is more replayability than Second Son once you finish the game imo. The arenas are a ton of fun and the city feels more alive - drive by's and more challenging DUP patrols. I loved Second Son but Fetch is just a cooler character. Loved First Light.

Havok83: Regarding Delsin/Second Son - I think the game reads your save files, you don't need the disc to play him in the arenas. You automatically get all his powers and have a choice of playing as Good/Evil Delsin, which is cool.

Cool. Thanks!

they said same in the video that fetch is a better character the Delson who's a *****e when compared to her . they just wanted a better or more fleshed out story still.

Just played a demo of FL at BB today and the arena mode seems like super fun! Fetch seems similar to Delsin yet different in her own way. Cant wait till this is added to Plus so I can play the full thing

I just finished the story mode and all of the side stuff for Good Karma .. I thought the game was okay. Since I did all the side stuff before the final battle, I was able to max out everything, but I've heard the story is really short.

I'm going for the Platinum now, but I didn't really have too many problems with the game, even though I heard a lot of decent reviews. I really liked Troy Baker though, so I would love to see a sequel to this.

I finally played this. I liked that I played another PS4 eXclusive and another open world IP. I only picked this up because of Ghost of Tsushima. This game weirdly feels small and I didn't really miss out by not picking this up before. My problem with the Just Cause games is the map is too big, and its the opposite here. The map is too small and it feels like a small town when you roam around and the roads aren't wide. The playable character having powers reminds me of the 2018 Spider-Man and Arkham games, and the map of those game feels large compare to this. Aside from the small map, there's not a lot of side things to do here. The fast travel here is useless, like it only needs 2 fast travel locations. The map is small and the playable character can superspeed run anyway. When I started to free roam, I managed to almost finish every side stuff in the first region and activated almost every smoke ability before I started the next main story mission. The graphics are good but I'm not a fan of the lighting, even when I adjusted the brightness. I don't like that this game doesn't have a night and day cycle, it depends with the last main mission you finished. I only got the nice weather after I beat the main game. The playable character doesn't have costume changes except for the print design in his jacket, which is hardly noticeable. There's also no main menu. However, this is one of the few games I've played that uses the motion sensor of the ps4 controller and its touchpad as a touchpad. So thats something this game has that other open world games don't have in the ps4.

The saving grace of this game is the main story. It was engaging even though the characters fell flat to me. Some of the missions were challenging, especially the boss fights but not frustrating. I really liked it when I got new abilities, those were the exciting parts of the game. But still, the main story was short and the characters were quite underdeveloped. I also don't think they really made the most out of all the abilities the character got. Then the Paper Trail side quest was boring and repetitive.

Knowing this game is short, I took my time. However I still finished it under two weeks. This is the shortest open world game that was originally released for the current gen consoles, I've ever played. I'm kinda disappointed with how short this is. I know I can do a second run with the Evil Karma, but I didn't like this game that much to do that. Over all, I'm going to give it a 7.

After playing this, I'm not sure I would buy First Light. From what I read, it can be finished in 4 hours and that is simply too short for me.

I speed blitzed through this when PS Plus made it available once, so I'm glad I didn't pay for it. It wouldn't have been worth it.

The first 2 games are vastly superior.

I'm still disappointed how short it was. Idk. It seemed like one of the early must have ps4 eXclusives but anyone could finish it under a week.

If they make a sequel someday, it has to be five times bigger imo.

I just finished playing Infamous First Light. This has to be the shortest open world game I've ever played. I completed the map objectives. I didn't do all the battle arena and didnt acquire all skills because I knew this game was short and it was kinda pointless to get every skill for such a short game. I wasn't disappointed in this compare to Second Son even though Second Son is more a full eXperience. They even didn't include half of the small map of Second Son in this.

Easily could have been a DLC, but I don't mind as there are not many Infamous games for ps4 and I have anothergame in my collection. I like that this uses the motion sensor of the controller and I liked getting those pink lights. The story though wasn't special and the lead character was flat to me. I also only don't like that they still didn't add a night and day cycle. Seattle here just looks so dark even when I adjusted the settings.

Wow, this thread brings me back. Infamous was easily my favorite ps3 game. I'm going to track down the Infamous Collection set. I wish they would have remastered these for the PS4.

I wasn't as crazy about Grunge infused Infamous, but Cole's story was great.

It was a $15 standalone experience (compared to $60 for Second Son). The size matched its price

God, Infamous is one of those reasons why i love the ps3 era.
We got so many cool and unique games there...man was Infamous cool.
