Here's the scenario: Marvel and DC can no longer exist as separate worlds.
Here's your assignment: Pick one Marvel hero and one DC hero whose powers, origins, or motifs would make them reasonably incompatable or contradictory in a merged world. Then nix one of them. Offer a short reason why you kept around the one you did.
Assume that all characters who have already been killed or written out of Marve or DC continuity are still dead. In other words, I can't bring back Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) to get rid of Spider-Man (Peter Parker).
Don't worry about the rippling effect of continuity. For example, picking Elongated Man over Mr. Fantastic doesn't mean the rest of the Fantastic Four never got their powers.
