I purfer to use the term, inspired rather than ripped off. Civil War was insipred by portions of Golden Age and Watchmen, and maybe some crap i've never read.

Like what..heroes fighting each other...killing D-list characters. Im pretty sure all that was done in IC...in fact DC killed off more charcters in IC than CW

Im talking about an all out morailty rasing war between good heroes. DC did it in Kingdom come, but that was an elseworld tale.

you mean the fact Identity crisis was a retcon, but it was probblay the best story DC comic had put out since Kingdom come[ they had alot of great books inbetween that time to].

But it still was not a war, not even close. It was just a bunch of skeletons in the closet, then finally got cleaned out.
