I thought he was alright when he was shooting Hitler and co. The look of pure hate in his eyes was believable.

And when they were trying to speak Italian all three of the Basterds were awesome. Pitt was the best though... his hillbilly Italian accent is probably one of the most hilarious things i've ever heard.

"Grazi!"

His face trying to hold it in when Hanz was questioning them made it even funnier

:funny:

there is no way in hell I could lie to Christoph Waltz....look at the glare...I would just start rattling **** off that I did back in the 3rd grade

So who wins in a staredown? Christoph Waltz or Willem Dafoe?

It should be:

Whoever wins.......the terrorists lose!

That picture is hilarious. And the fact that Waltz keeps a straight face makes it that much better.

Hi, I have made a system, to help me give a honest and strait rating to a movie, so I’m rating all the movies I have seen with it. Let’s see what we have here:

Acting: 10/10
Script: 9.5/10
Directing: 10/10
Visual stile (Art, costumes, cinematography, etc): 9/10
Music: 7.5/10

Overall: 9.2/10

i think that is a very fair and accurate assessment

that picture makes me giggle.

I wonder if we'll ever see Waltz work with Tarantino again. I'd like to see what Waltz could do with some of Tarantinos different material. He seems like he could be very very funny, he was in some scenes in basterds.

Can't wait to seem in hte green hornet

Script is definitely 10/10.

It doesn't drag at all. It's about the build up of it all. You need to pay attention to what they are saying. If you are into it, you are waiting for something to happen, hence the tension. The opening scene and the bar scenes are the best scenes because of the use of trension.

I was worried the bar scene was going to drag when Bridget, Hicox, and the other guys started to play that game at the table. I thought they were going to go through each player. Thank God they stopped after the Nazi guessed his clue.

That whole scene was agony. I wanted Bridget to tell the others about Hitler so bad so I was practically ripping my hair out when they were interrupted. :woot:

Not only is that scene stages to well, but then the shootout. It's like five seconds from what I remember. And then back to even more intensity.

I feel the same. I was so stressed out. I also thought the strudel scene was tense, I didn't expect him to show up & when he ordered the milk... :shock

The music definitely deserves a higher score. It was fan-****ing-tastic
