I'm hoping Black Canary or Zatanna will be the next DLC after Martian Munhunter. For some reason Red Hood doesn't appeal to me, but he is a popular character. To each their own I guess.

Anybody else having trouble getting zod to be playable on PS3? I've installed him and everything but he's not showing up as playable.

I just think......after putting in Batgirl, who got the lowest votes on that all-girl poll, and not put in Power Girl or Supergirl ( who are essentially the same character ), would be a huge troll move.

and given the nature of the story with alt dimensions, it's almost a no brainer to have Supergirl/Power Girl be alts of each other.

and since Zod plays entirely differently than Superman, I say there's room for 1 more Kryptonian. and they can give Kara a different playstyle, just like they did with Zod.

It's pretty likely Batgirl was already being worked on before that poll came up. Boon probably wanted to see if it would have worked in Batgirl's favor, but it backfired on him.

And no offense, but I'd much rather have characters with powers and abilities no one else has than someone that has the same powers as another character only done differently.

There were several skin packs made available yesterday and also an update to the game tweeking some of the characters for balance.

There was also a download for Zombie mode. You turn it on in the game options to use in offline play. Personally I think it should have allowed every character to pick that skin online as well. No idea why they didn't do that.

gotta say im really enjoying playing as Zod! He has some awesome combos, and I love using his trait to hold people in place near the end of a combo and extend it with B3

I really like the blackest night aquaman and hawkgirl, and the MOS superman skin and classic Ares. Alternate color for BN aquman is the best, his shirt is more silver as opposed to orange which is more comic accurate

some fun Zod combos I was trying out

b2,3 - 1,1,gound blast MB - 2,1,3 (or 1,2,3) zod charge or phantom strike (MB or normal)

b1,2,kryptonian rifle MB - quick dash then B3 - J3 - 1,1,zod charge or phantom strike (MB or normal)

activate trait - b1,2,ground blast MB, wait until they popup from the ground blast MB, then active d+1 trait so the opponent is grabbed, dash forward, B3, J3, 1,1,zod charge or phantom strike (MB or normal)

I have not really played this game much but still don't know how to kick/punch characters through the wall or whatever the arena is and get the cool scenes of them being beaten up or thrown around. Please show me in the simplest way possible for PS3?

Zod was fun but I didn't care for his limited reach. Anyone else kinda feel that? Might have to do with his stance, we need a MOS Zod skin ASAP. I love my ruskie Batman and Korean Refugee GL. The skins have been generous and very cool, playing as Henry Cavill is just too cool as well. This is a front runner for best game of the year for me as far as a pure enjoyment standpoint goes.

I have not really played this game much but still don't know how to kick/punch characters through the wall or whatever the arena is and get the cool scenes of them being beaten up or thrown around. Please show me in the simplest way possible for PS3?

if the stage has a transition you have to be close to the side that transitions, and the ONLY attack that will work to knock your opponent through a transition is Back+heavy (so back+X on ps3)

It worked now for me too, on the 4th try. Thing is, it usually starts to work whenever I come online and complain. So in the future, whenever you see me complaining about something, know the issue will be resolved soon after.

So, got to try the MOS skin, and it's awesome. It's too bad we don't have a proper Shannon Zod in the game. Would have bought him without hesitation.

Costume alone won't do it. This is pretty much Stamp's Zod. I want the engineered Warrior, who's purpose is to protect Krypton. Having Shannon's Zod as a skin, but still acting all smug and arrogant, would be completely jarring.

Hm, I don't think there's ever really been a mad scientist Zod, he's always been a fighter in some form or another. He's done sciency things in the past, but he's always been about the punching. And Shannon's Zod was a schemer, too, even more than Stamp's.

Oh also, not sure if this is mentioned or anyone here cares, but I'd read that all the DLC for the Wii U version came in with this latest batch.
