I've seen a lot of talk about this possibly being a linear game, though if it just takes place in Madripoor, wouldn't open world make more sense?

Sony should do another Showcase early next year besides FF7 sequel and Silent Hill 2 remaster I don’t think they have much going on unless they do drop Wolverine next fall/winter

I don't see it affecting the game that much especially if they already filmed the mo cap actors and voice actors. I'm assuming the story was already finished like a year ago. Coding and technical aspects are usually what makes these games so long to finish.

The game will probably have alternate skins and stuff, but if Wolverine is wearing his civvies the whole time, I will be annoyed.

The good news is they haven't declared a strike yet and they are still in ongoing negotiations under the previous deal for now.

Yeah, it’s nice getting Arkham and then this Spidey series but we need more than one superhero game at a time reaching high quality. I’ve got very high hopes for the Monolith Wonder Woman game too.

Not just for this, for the whole.
For the Marvel games in the work, for the Wonder Woman game...for Comic book based video games in general.
I hoped the Arkham series would be enough to make studios realize the value in these IPs, but i hope that the SM2 success is what finally makes them realize it.

This all is far too little still.
Wolverine, Iron Man, 2 Black panther games, a Wonder Woman game...is too little, we need more.

I have faith in Insomniac to deliver a good Wolverine game.
The Success of their Spider-Man game should give them a lot of breathing room to be able to tackle this how they see fit.
I doubt anybody will tell them "no" after how things with Spider-man 2 turned out.

EDIT:

I forgot that Rocksteady had also a good run and it ended with WB forcing them to do a Suicide Squad game.
So everything is possible.

But then...WB is more known to mess up good stuff than Sony, so who knows.

Considering his past and current tenure as the character, and the fact that he voiced Kraven in Spider-Man 2, another Insomniac game, it’s almost certainly going to be Steve Blum.

Steve Blum didn't voice anyone in Spider-Man 2. Jim Pirri was the voice of Kraven (as well as model).

Honestly as much as I like Blum, I want someone new. And given Insomniac's record with these pasts few games, it seems they cast pretty much brand new people for these roles. Yuri had only voiced Spider-Man once but it was for a mobile game.

I am assuming that they aren't going to do open world, but they could give him a bike (that he stole from Cyclops)
