TDK fights were so much better. Now BB's fights were so bad it's not much to say. But TDK's fight were good.

I enjoyed the shot where he grapples his way up to the Joker, and kicks off the side of the wall on his way up.

That effing rocked. I loved any shot where he's gliding and then pulls his cape in to accelerate into something.

TDK didn't really have fights, it was more like guys lining up in single file to get the crap kicked out of them. BUT I STILL LOVED IT!

What I really liked was that the Joker was a fighter. He wasn't skilled in combat, but he's crazy and dirty which was perfect for the character.

I liked TDK choreography, but I felt like it was not fast enough. I mean, I know most people complained about how we couldn't see Batman punching bad guy in Begins, but I liked that feeling of "oh, Batman is so fast, so agile, we can barely see him in action". I really am not interested if Batman jumps, flips over and kicks while grabbing someone's gun. I love to see that, but it's not really important to me. And somehow I felt that in TDK some fight scenes were not so fast as they should be. We see Batman rise his arm and then he holds it there for a second or two before coming down. And then he turns to meet another opponent and he's already there, like he was waiting for Batman to finish with the first one to threaten him.

I was one of the few who enjoyed the fight scenes in Begins and the way they were edited, and I liked TDK's fight scenes. I just miss that feeling that Batman is really fast.

the batman begins were knockdown dragout brawls, but bruce could fight better in this one. the confrontations were also better.

For some reason the fight scene where Batman goes in the nightclub it reminded me of Batman Forever for some reason, but not in a bad way :funny:

That scene reminded me alot of the scene in 'Collateral' where Tom Cruise's character goes ape **** in the club.

I liked both fights in both movies .

However The fights in TDK were so much clearer than BB .

The climactic fight on the train in BB trumped the Joker/Batman standoff in TDK. That is still one of the best sequences ive ever seen in my life.

Yes, That was amazing. And he always used something to even the playing field. (boot-knife in the party, medal pole in the final battle). I'm glad it wasn't like Batman 89 where Joker gets his ass handed to him and then he dies.

I thought TDK was better but still not the best fight scenes I have seen. Nolan has gotten better but not perfect at fillming close combat.

The Dark Knight was way better than Batman Begins. A vast improvement.

I personally liked BB's fight scenes better. They give batman a more mysterious feel with the quick editing. In TDK batman looks almost funny fighting if you really pay attention to him. It looks like the people hes fighting arent even trying

i couldn't agree more.

batman looked like he was moving so slow in most of the fight scenes.

Its not that they wearn't trying...they were just extremely overmatched. I mean its BATMAN!!!

I did love however how this time around, The Joker was very much so, a physical threat to Batman. I really enjoyed that...esp. when you compare it to the 89' version where he was simply being thrown around like a rag doll.

The action was so much better in this flick. Like a billion times better, from that first sequence with bats ****ing people up and then jumping on scrows van all the way to him handing the SWAT there asses it all was clear and awesome.

The choreography I'd go with Begins. CINEMATOGRAPHY however I would definitely go with The Dark Knight.

The Dark Knight, I could actually see what was going on

To the guy above that says it looks like his opponents wernt even trying, that is like pretty much every action movie if you really look for it.

BEGINS never had bad action sequences, it was edited that way with reason. TDK however wins for the sheer brutality, and that this time around Nolan wanted to slow it down for everyone so you could bask in the violence. The way Batman was so ruthless in this movie physically, he was at times as frightening as the Joker.

Yeah, TDK was much more brutal and one thing I liked a lot was the sound, which I have seen anyone mention. When Batman would give someone a huge blow, it blasted through the theater. In BB, the editing was choppy, as was the sound.
