The fight scenes should be as intense as those of Walker Texas Ranger.
wow, that's a terrible idea, i'd hate for the thugs to all circle batman then attack him one at a time. Walker was a bad show.

they better be to warrent the time and money on that suit.

The close ups weren't really the problem, it was the editing. They cut away too fast from each shot to the next to the point where you're trying to decipher what you saw. I like most of the fight scenes and it does help bring out the brutality of the fight, but it was toward the end where we really needed to see Batman fighting.
I can agree that the editing was part of the problem also, but the camera was definitly too close in as well... The fights are brutal, I agree, and they shouldn't change that. But panning out the camera and doing something about the editing wont change that. Now, I know Steven Seagal isn't exactly the greatest actor on earth, but when it comes to martial arts he knows his ****!:wow: ... Look at how badass and brutal the fights were in his better movies, from the old days, such as "Hard to Kill" & "Out for Justice"! That style is practickly the same as seen in BB. Again, I only wish for them to pan out the camera and let us see what's going on, like in those movies of Seagal's.

I wonder what exactly the new suit is build for? Is it because Bruce claims he can't move too well in the old one? Cause if that's the reason, it would be a great reason for them to pan out the camera and let Us see just how badass Bruce is at martial arts within the sequel. Yes, we KNOW he's badass all the way back from BB... But panning ot the camera and really letting us see him break bones would only give us a greater scope of that!

i liked all of the fight scenes except for the one on the train and the fight with ra's ninjas before he boarded the train.

you really should've seen those because it was a real fight. the other ones against thugs was more of an ambush.

I want fights as intense as this:

LMAO at Jimmy Rhoads's post :D .

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Pan out the damn camera for the fights and everything will be fine!

"We'll keep an eye out for ya, Stingray."
"Yeah, SEE ya."

See how the Goyer-esque taste and style for one-liners are all around? :joker:

Worst fight sequence ever...:wow:

That fight is uploaded twice in youtube. Funny how it is refered as both "best fight ever" and "worst fight ever" by different people, just like BB fight sequences. :)

That fight is just as bad as this one...it starts around 1:50

The fight sequence should be like that in The Last Samurai when Tom Cruise was fighting like 6 swordsmen who surrounding him and after slicing and dicing them he then start to recall in his mind from the fight if all the swordsmen have been killed.

Has anyone thought about this at all!???.... I think it's a relative enough thread to create and talk about. In the new third tv-spot (which kicks ASS!) batman is seen in a glimps about to hit someone, but really, nothing has been seen of Batman kicking ass in the new movie yet! Why do you think this is?

I for one would really like to see just SOME of what the fighting will be like in this new movie already! Will it be the same as last - which I thought was cool by the way, only I wish they would pan out the DAMN CAMERA! Am I the only one who wants that??? What are your expectations this time around, regarding this matter!?

he punched joker in trailer 2 and punched a dude in the new TV spot

We just saw him whooping some ass in the new TV spot ninja style.:ninja:

probably saving it for the movie, at least its something we can look forward too, we havent really seen much of bats anyways

Because fighting take a backseat to car chases in the new Batman films.

Because the movie isn't out yet, and unless it's a kung-fu movie, there's usually not a whole lot of fighting in Trailers aside from the odd punch or kick.

That's not what I call seeing him fight... I wanna see his martial arts style, just a bit!... I wanna see some kicks and elbow-breaking... we have seen nothing of his fighting in this film yet... a punch or two in a glimps of a tv-spot doesn't count imo... maybe they're saving it for the movie, but surely I can't be the only one who wants to see this!?

If a tv-spot came on where we see Bruce say something in the lines of "I'm so pissed off right now, I feel like hitting something!", and than just a fast montage of batman truely kicking butt, then we would ALL be screaming and clapping in exitement! Why? Because that **** hasn't been seen yet!

I know (unlike in practickly all other superhero franchises) the fighting in the new batman franchise takes a back-seat, meaning that it's not what the movie's about. It's there, but it's not the driving force of the movie, THE STORY IS! I know this, and I wouldn't want it any other way... But still it would be just B-e-a-utiful to see him kick the **** out of someone! We all want that, you KNOW we do!:)
