Obviously you haven't seen some action figures from NECA, SOTA or Mcfarlane Toys. Granted The Dark Knight figures will probably suck and only be for kids since their being made by Mattel but there are some adult collectible figures out there.

Absolutely. When the Spider-Man 2 toys came out, it was all I could do not to buy that big-ass Spidey with 67 points of articulation. That was a BEAUTIFUL toy.

If Mattel had their stuff together enough to make a Batman figure like that, and it looked that good, I'd name my firstborn child after the company and tattoo the logo on the kid's forehead.

Fortunately for my hypothetical firstborn, my luck with women is not good enough to support odds of me ever reproducing.

Dude, no joke. 67 points of articulation. It was a foot and a half tall and literally fully poseable. No joke. Each of his KNUCKLES was articulated! It was about $20 as I recall. I came *sooo* close to buying it *soooo* many times.

The only way the doll would be scary for children is if he was foaming at the mouth, with a blood-soaked straightjacket or purple suitcoat and slacks, and holding a bloody knife. Otherwise, it takes alot for today's kids to get scared.
