Interracial relationship? Don't get married in Louisiana...

NO , its not racist. Thats not a fact! Thats YOUR subjective opinion. Thats your belief, not mine.

Well you are a ****ing idiot then.

If you don't think not allowing a white and black person to get married and have children together is racist, you are a ****ing idiot, end of.

Going by your logic I could go "I don't like black people". And because that's MY opinion, it's not racist? Wha...?

And I dont like POL CORRECT self righteous people .

What we need is some good advice from ANN COULTER! She tells it like it is!

Heh ask anyone on this board, I'm probably THE biggest "**** the pol correct" person on here.

Nope. You try to turn opinions you dont like into a rights issue. tyranny of mind control and denial of independent thought. Thats classic POL CORRECT lefty thinking.

No, it's not like that AT ALL.

As I said, going by your "logic" if I went "I don't like black people. But it's my opinion" that excuses it from being racist? That is what you are basically saying.

Saying a black and white person can't marry or have kids together IS an opinion, you are right. But it is a racist opinion.

Ok guys simmer down, Dreadstar, any form of holding people down with self righteous judgment is a prejudice, whether you agree with the prejudice or not.

Huh? Who said anything about slaves being treated well?

Mel Gibson and Roland emmerich perpetuated that notion.

I don't think it's racist in and of itself to want to marry someone who is of the same race as you. That's more like a personal preference thing. It's like wanting someone with blonde hair and blue eyes. It's your choice.

But even if he feels that way himself, he should just give them the damned marriage certificate. It's their choice too. They should be allowed to.

Thats your subjective opinion. Your mode of thinking is the desire for harmony and overrides a realistic appraisal of alternatives.

You haven't answered my question.

If I went "I don't like black people! But that's just my opinion!" is that acceptable?

Seems to me it would be illegal to deny them for the reasons he stated.

Wow this is......I dont even know what to say really. Everyone has said all that needs to be said.

I'm not even sure who this rhetoric is aimed at but the bottom line is what it is, no matter how many times people trot out "opinion" the fact remains, to hold judgment over others and force them to do as you think in order to be part of what you deem society should be, is prejudice and in this case abuse of power.

"Think about the children." That's the first issue that comes to mind with a lot of people against interracial anything. They act like growing up with two different cultures in the household will cause the future brats to self implode or something. It won't be any harder for them than any other kids.

As a bi-racial child who's with another bi-racial child, you people don't know how hard it is growing up as mixed. *chokes back tears*

In all seriousness though, I was watching some skinhead/kkk thing a few years ago and with a lot of them the worse thing than a black, asian, hispanic is someone who was mixed.

Because that means they actually did the deed, and some people can't even stomach the thought.

Yea I've seen programs like that. They look at them as abominations or that the black/hispanic/asian person has like, poisoned the white person.

It's just so pathetic to think like that.
