Really we don't need anything over complicated for fist. Standard gold boots. Green or white pants and upper torso suit. Arm bands thr mask and logo on the shirt very easy suit to pull off.

Sorry, that costume is horrifying. It's completely abandoning his roots. And pouches are way too nineties.

ya wants the point for pouches and cameo pants. We dont need to military him up. We want to have sleaker outfit so he can move and strike fast. So sleaker pants, a belt like karate folks have arm bands and the mask is all easy.

I think people are overthinking it. The Brubaker costume can easily be pulled off in live action and is a great, iconic look.

Pretty much you take dd first suit. You make it green top and pants. Add a gold belt and gold boots. Yellow version of mask dd first had. And some arm bands and the dragon log on chest and bam nice and easy suit.

That is what I was saying you take what dd first suit was. Make mask yellow or gold color. Give him a funky gold belt. Give him some arm bands gold colored. Green pants and shirt with gold dragon logo and likely some sort of karate or fighting boot gold and simple.

I also prefer the hair hidden in his mask instead of loose.
I do like aspects of the Ultimate Alliance design.
I loathe the shirt with cargo pants pics.
I'd also like his dragon emblem in black but outlined in yellow.

I may work a manip.

To me, the best fabric to use would be whatever Doctor Strange's outfit is made out of. That woven fabric looks more like a Kung Foo type outfit, which would capture the spirit of the eastern heritage it draws from.

Why the hell would Iron Fist need a Batman style utility belt when he has mystic super powers in his hands? Why is he wearing baggy pants (that look like they don't even fit him properly) over his yellow stash and therefor obscuring it? I am sorry but that is a poorly designed costume. Good drawing... bad costume.

Maybe he's got climbing equipment and stuff that his Iron Fist powers can't do.

Ya he doesn't need pouches or cameo military pants. He is a kung-fu fighter and his power in is his flaming mystic hand powers. He doesn't need to be military up or armored suited. Again taking cues from dd first suit. With minor changes and additions we got very easy way to do classic like fist.

Its like he put on his comic book style outfit and then put on a pair of baggy pants over it and it looks stupid, quite frankly. It doesn't work at all.

The belt overpowers the stash, thereby making the stash completely pointless. You can't even see the ****ing thing because of that belt. From a stylistic, dynamic superhero image perspective that costume is a complete mess.

Besides, the pouches are more Orson Randall, not Danny Rand. Don't want to overly mix up the different Iron Fists' looks.

This is my design for Iron Fist's costume. Mind you this is a preliminary design. I haven't gone into all the details of the costume but just the major design aspects I wanted. I always thought his comic costume was just too simple and I never understood why he has a tattoo of a dragon with wings since asian dragons dont have wings. Western images of dragons have wings. I don't know too much about Iron Fist but it seems he gains his power and skills from asian martial arts. So I chose to keep the familiar mask and provide him with a more asian costume without going into the realm of copying Bruce Lee's Game of Death out fit or the traditional cheesy kung fu uniform with kung fu shoes.

Not sure it's the most practical design considering he's going to be based in New York.
