Mainly because Scarlet Witch was going to be in Iron Man 2 according to Jon Favreau...Johansson was going to play her before she was cast as Widow....I just figured unless she's from Asgard she's going to be human....hence SHIELD agent ..lol

it was reported by MTV a while back from Favreau himself...I'm sure you can find the story..lol..she is also a longtime member of the West Coast Avengers...so I don't think she falls under the old Fox/X-Men deal...

sure she may be an avenger now, but shes amutant, and i think the Fox/Xmen deal gave them all mutants, that and she started out as X villain, id rather her apear in an Xmovie then transision over to avegners
