The title warns, don't complain if I don't use spoiler tags please.

Just in case,

Here's a bit of

space

So, he's not in it until AFTER the credits? What the hell purpose does he serve then? I thought his role was talking with Ross about helping with his "problem?"

The only thing a post credit scene, in this context, gives is a tease for Iron Man being in the sequel or something, or some IM tech being used against the Hulk in the sequel.

Well, I've just read about the Iron Man post credits scene, and from what I've read about it, I would imagine this scene will be in a similar vein, and it makes sense.

Who said anything about it being after the credits?

i don't mind it after the credits like the IM scene its a nice nod to fans but not forced into the main story

I can see the Iron Monger suit being an inspiration for the hulkbuster suit, if it is used.

Well...the majority of the people doesn't wait for these after-credits scenes and that kinda lessens their purpose and the impact of the cross-overs.
''Woo-hoo! Tony Stark kinda was in The Incredible Hulk...but in a way he wasn't...''

My guess is that Tony asks Bruce if he has ever heard of the Avenger Initiative much like Nick Fury asked to Tony

Last night about 85% of the people who watched Iron Man waiting till the end of the credits, and [BLACKOUT]flipped out when Fury sait "Avengers"[/BLACKOUT]. First time I have ever seen that happen since the 2nd pirates movie (which was met with aaudible groan of "I waited to see a damn dog?"

Disappointing... but I can see why Marvel is sticking to this formula for now... why force something that has no business belonging in there? These after the credit scenes are nods to the fans... but everyone will catch them at some point on youtube or on DVD before Avengers comes out. I don't think its a huge deal.

Speaking of cameos, has there been
any talk of Nick Fury making an appearance?

Has it been confirmed that Ross shows up in Iron Man?

I think some of you are getting confused. [blackout]Nick Fury[/blackout] appears after the credits in Iron Man, and The Incredible Hulk has [blackout]Tony Stark[/blackout].

Iron Man's scene after the credits had rolled was perfect. A nice little surprise.

Well, the purpose (IMO) is to highlight the fact that the marvel universe is connected! And this is a nice, easy (cheapish) way of doing it. And most (really MOST) fans think it's fantastic, using the actual actor from Iron Man! This been done before?

Iron Man is not in this film, and rightly so. It's a film about the Hulk against the army and Abom. Not Iron Man.

Yes, it is supposed to be a tease, and he's talking to Tony about his 'problem' because, after this Hulk film, he's realised he can't take the Hulk down without help! He didn't know before! This is why it's at the end...

Linking the Marvel Universe by showing these clips after the movie credits is a good idea. It won't confuse the general audience who doesn't know what's being built upon. In the IM movie, Nick Fury(Jackson) mentions that IM is not the only superhero around. I think that S.H.I.E.L.D will make an appearance through out the Marvel Studio's movies, linking them together for those paying attention. The after credit scenes are a bonus for us fans.

I'm hoping the RDj scene either has him giving him the tech to make Mandroids or have him asking Ross to explain what Hulk is.

This is looking really good.

I think its clear now that one of Marvel Studios biggest goals is to mix all the characters into one dimension. Up until now, each superhero movie has been in its own universe.
Marvel obviously wants to have a new twist on its movies as a whole.

To me this seems like a huge task. If I am reading it right, they will have all of the avengers in thier own movie. Then, bring them together. Sounds simple enough, but I think that's going to be an ardous task for them.
For example, Iron man is going to be a hit. Hopefully, Hulk will too. But say Thor and Captain America flop. That would be a huge impact on the Avengers movie.

What do you guys think?

I too think it will effect the chances of it. Say Hulk tanks, they can easily remove Hulk, but Captain America...? Ouch...

Not only that, but the age of the actors and the amount of films they want to make is really hurting the chance to have iconic actors like Norton and Downey on screen together.

Say they want a Hulk 2, Hulk 3, Iron Man 2, and Iron Man 3, as well as Captain America, Thor, and Ant man films.

By the time they actually get to the avengers it will be a freaking mess with some having aged to much / not wanting to continue with these characters.

As much as I want the Avengers, I have no idea how it will play out.

Here's another cross-over tidbit...at Comic con there was some footage shown with dialogue between Ross and Blonksy, discussing the "Super Soldier" (yes it's called that by name) program of World War 2...:wish:

Age def makes a impact on future choices. But theoretically speaking say all single avenger movies do at least decent in the box office. And Either Norton or Downey is no longer interested, do you think Marvel Studios will ****e out like all the other studios and just find diff actors?
But from what I read both Norton and Downey were very interested in these films. So thats a positive note that they will stay with the franchise long enough for a crossover.

I think its important to Marvel Studios cuz it gives them a 1up on DC. Justice League has to be a separate entity since Nolan chose the tone he did for his Batman. They cant tie those together.

And if they do pull off an Avengers, which would rock so hard core, who do you think the villian(s) would be?

Well that would def tie in with Captain America. Thats awesome.
