BvS Is anyone else not excited about Superman and Batman? I feel nothing but dread. - Part 2

I never thought of it that way, but it kinda makes sense. There is no denying that the dog stuff is absurd though (especially considering that dog never died, from Clark's chilhood to his adulthood). It would have been way better if Pa Kent was saving a kid.

The dog shouldnt have died, it should have been Krypto the super dog.

My mom had a chihauhau that lived from 1989 to 2001.

yeah the dog lived for what, over 12 years? I think that's fine, my dog's 15 and can still walk and see and hear and all that.

FYI, you guys know the dog that Jonathon saves isn't the same one in the present day? Hank and Dusty (thank you I am The Knight)

I think they mean that the dog seen when Clark is playing around as a child with Jonathon looking on is the same dog that is in the car when Clark is 17-18 when Pa Kent dies. Still, that's a bit of a nit pick. Clark is what? Between 8 and 10 during that flashback. So the dog would be like 11? This is problem... Why?

Yeah that's what I meant by the first bit of my post. How I said the dog would've lived for over 12 years (from when clark was 6 to 18)
and yes, this is one hell of a nitpick!

The guy sitting next to me in the movie theatre was actually complaining about the dogs.

haha, thank you. I've been thinking about Doomsday since yesterday. I think it could work. Wit the rumours about Supes "death", and knowing how snyder is willing to offers us some huge fights scenes... The potential is there.

I'm open to it.

Yeah I've always thought it could work. I feel that what we got in MoS and what we will get in BvS, there will be more then enough of Superman to truly mourn his death at the end of the film. I don't think I will be able to handle Lois crying over his dead body with (Hopefully) Batman and the others watching in horror.

It could be the reverse of the Death of Superman comic version, in a way. People realising what they have in that moment - a force for good that is struck down before he even really gets going. People no longer afraid of the guy - actually afraid of a world without Superman, given these supercharged threats keep appearing, and only one guy can really compete with them.

With more rumors of the DOS story line being a possibility for this film, I'm starting to feel the negativity of those who are treating it as a good thing.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you're meaning?

now that I've read what you wrote in the other thread, I understand better. I wasn't trying to make fun of you btw.
