BvS Is General Swanwick Martian Manhunter?

He might be Martian Manhunter, but I'm pretty sure Perry White is secretly Aquaman. Fishburne... Fish born... it's pretty obvious.

And JGL is The Riddler.

Don't forget... Anthony Michael Hall is the real Joker.

And you can see Venom in his eye.

Eminem is the Riddler. Or was that Eddie Murphay? Or Johnny Deep?

Justin "Dick in a box" Timberlake (or i guess riddle in a box) wanted to play Da Riddla !

I think Timberlake would be better for Flash.

Not going to lie, If Eminem really were to play Riddler it wouldn't be so bad if it was like the Jigsaw horror type from Arkham City. That would actually be perfect.

People do realize that if Swanwick was John, thus having all of his powers, then he wouldn't need to bother in asking Superman on what his secret identity is and he could have talked with him telepathically so no one else could here.

I mean until some credible proof comes up to support this "desired" concept as being a reality, I think this is just a case of people wanting a character to be someone else that he clearly isn't.

Agreed. It seems like a lot of wishful thinking. I saw absolutely nothing in the movie to indicate in the slightest that the General is anything other than what he appears.

If Swannich is Martian Manhunter I think his lack of non-human actions can be explained as him genuinely not knowing what kind of a being Clark is. Is he really a good guy? MM could simply be cautious, especially considering the vulnerable position he is as a guise.

Hey you dont know me, long time ago i joined these boards. Been watching a while now lol
But i was started thinkin for a explination for MM not to help superman fight the kryptonians because it was the fight clark needed to become truly superman the world needs and of he interfeard(sorry for bad english) he wouldnt become truly superman in somekind of way to shape him to who he is. Plus he needs to hide his identity. Maybe, maybe not

Well, i really like MM, so this could be a way to introduce him...:yay:

no no no. amh was the riddler. but after tdk that guy that played "mr. reese" was the riddler because "mr. reese" sounds like "mysteries"

LOL

I remember the "Colman Reese is the Riddler" thing. Hilarious.

If this were the MCU it would be yet another universe building cameo that might no doubt been over celebrated.
This being the dcu...over crowded/acting too different from source material..etc.

I personally think there is a 50/50 chance. The actor is good enough for the role, Snyder likes him(and his voice), some ethnic diversity, manhunter is a shape changer that has been known to do almost this exact thing(impersonate authorities)..

well said

I would like the actor to be MM but it requires a lot of story gymnastics to explain it away. Most of the ideas in this thread are very farfetched and unrealistic. There was nothing hinting at him being MM.

I tend to agree, however I'm just stating how possible the prospect is. This isn't hulk we are talking about here, J'onn seems alot more reasonable.

lol maybe J'onn saved all those people(that would be funny)
Imagine for two seconds that the last conversation between Superman and the General is under the pretense that superman "knows", would pretty much go the same way, especially that last line.

Quite frankly, IMO the concept behind this thread is a bit of a reach.

Agreed it's 50/50 but its notorious on some aspects.

When Superman amazed and "scared" some people breaking the handcuffs and also you see no reaction from Swanwick.
When Superman told Swanwick (I don't know I guess I have to trust you) I mean Kal could have used his x-ray vision and saw smth unusual of the General.

Yes. The weird double standards between the DCU and MCU is awkward to say the least.

Yup! Most of the ideas in here are farfetched. Doesn't hurt to speculate on the General possibly being MM though. At least MM's backstory would be explained and knocked out right away IF he were to even be included in this BvsS or JL films.

You sir are awesome!
