Is Halloween more of a trick and a treat for paedophiles?

Besides, most girls who wear costumes like the one Splat linked are more likely going to parties than Trick-or-Treating

And, as Bill stated I went to HS with girls who wore more revealing outfits.

Yes, you probably did go to a HS like that. However we in the U.K.have uniforms to avoid this depravity.

My mistake, I thought you were talking about revealing halloween costumes in general.

But hey, if people want to be horrible parents and dress their little girls up like hookers, then they shouldn't be surprised when their kids get bad touched.

It's a danger! I was walking through town last year and nearly got hit by a bus. You see, there were these two girls, 20ish, and they were wearing red dresses/napkins, and they had horns on there head that were all glittery, and I think they even had some glitter of the boobies - so I was distracted! It was awesome... but not awesome enough to get hit by a bus.

Don't get hit by buses, kids.

I hate the idea of uniforms, but that's another discussion for another day.

now, I'm off to lunch.

I think 'depravity' is a bit extreme.

It's not as if the girls are walking around topless and giving handies in the hall ways or whatever. If they were high school would have been a lot cooler.

Fair enough, although I don't think a child should be punished for an adults stupidity.

Uniforms prevent ridicule and bullying based on clothing and the sort of issues you mentioned.

Have a nice Lunch.

:)

It's this sort of reply that supports my initial argument!

Everything in this thread besides Eggy and Mr. Todd's comments fail.

Please clarify or expand.

You live in the UK which basically helped invent depravity (when I say "basically helped" I mean it was you and France). So by now you must have a ton of depravity and all sorts of nasty things going on over there.

What else other than forcing your children to dress alike in service of the Queen do you do to stop depravity??

Yes, you seem a very intelligent person. Look within yourself for the irony.
Because I made a sarcastic comment shows my level of intelligence to you? Okay.

And regarding the topic, it's the little girls (or...boys..) and their parents choice. No one is forcing them to dress like morons. And if someone is, they should be stopped.

Solution to the problem: Don't dress like ****es. If you want to, that's your fault.

Except it's not their choice, it's their parents faults for not being able to say "No". It's also the fault of people who stand by and say nothing about something that is obviously morally deficient. Isn't it?

Did you not see me say

Earlier? Of course the parents should say no, I've never implied they shouldn't.
