Is it better the 2nd time around?

Okay, I've read some positive and negatives replies.. The one thing I wonder most about is: how did you people experience the pacing the second time? I thought it was a little rushed the first time I saw the film. I'm seeing it again on monday. Any opinions?

Seen it twice now. Didn't really change anything for me. Still think it's a entertaining action film which strives to be more in certain places, but falls short most of the time.

But as I've said before, this does have SOME depth to it. Maybe not enough though.

Still a solid 7/10 from me. If there was more Team X time and the escape from the lab was better it would be easily a 8/10 for me.

And for the record, no film that costs over 100 million to make will ever be Rate R again. Just ain't gonna happen peeps.

I actually didnt enjoy it as much 2nd time, as someone else mentioned the flaws became more apparent for me 2nd time and the movie seemed too rushed 2nd time for some reason as well. Still better than X3 but also should have been much better.

Example of what? How a big budget film won't be rated R? The last one was Watchmen, and I don't think any studio will be doing that again.

I don't think Wolverine needs to be rated R in order to be good, although it would certainly make some action scenes better. The problem is the script, which won't go away even with a R rating.

Yea but the enjoyability factor would go up if it was more hard core and brutal like the comics I reckon. Might not make it a better movie, but more enjoyable. For me at least.

That's what my first thoughts are based on when I review a movie or whatever, the main thing, the most important thing for me is if I enjoy it.

damn what happened with that movie?? all that hoopla for what? at the very least i respect and salute him for trying to make a movie adaption of the novel as close as possible and stick page to page with source material.. and i know nothing of watchmen until this movie.. not a fan of it but it was ok.. i guess.. lol

I've seen this movie multiple times and it holds up very well. In fact, I think I did enjoy it more the second time I saw it. I went looking to nitpick and found most of what people think are flaws are only flaws in their own mind. I really don't want to get in to it but, needless to say, I enjoyed every viewing because I picked up something new every time.

Saw it twice. I still give it a 5/10. It's just a mediocre action flick.

I'll have to wait for the dvd with subtitles so I can naturally pick up on the fuller experience, since I'm deaf.

That is why it didn't do great. People that had no idea what it was or hadn't read the novel were expecting something completely different. I read the book before the movie because of that fact and I am glad I did. It was a great adaptation and a good movie.

Yea Watchmen was great. But as we know great doesn't automatically = box office success. It being Rated R/18 didn't help that.

The more i see it, the more i like CERTAIN parts of it, yet i find more inconsistancies that bug me.
