As strange as this question may seem to ask, is there anyone else out there that agrees with me that its time to finally get rid of the American form of government? Who says that we still can't retain the same rights. From its inception, I believe that the Constitution is a vaguely conceived flawed man-made document subject to each generation's own interpretation. The so highly regarded "almighty" founders, were just men too who implied that Americans had every right not to stay within its jurisdiction by not writing a guide to a much more detailed form of government. I am just completely sick of their not being a single researched interpretation of the Constitution and Americans putting whatever values the want into it, and having actors literally represent them to maintain the status quo. Who else has cause to dissolve the Union?

Well, for better or worse, the Constitution was made to be flexible.

Will we dissolve the US? No. But, not empire has last forever. Will we eventially fall? Yes. And we will bring ourselves down.

As corrupt and incompetent as the government is, it does maintain order. Dissolving the union would plunge us into chaos. What government would take over? Who would be in charge? People get fired up as it is with our current system, imagine is all of a sudden a new one is thrust upon us.

Just make all the lawyers outlaws who come up with these stupid laws and lawsuits and we'd be ok.

People inherently like to complain.

Dissolve the US? HELL NO. On November 2012 you have the power to choose who you think could do things better. Tired of the same old? Try independent candidates.

That would give us a month before the World ends on 12-21-12.

That is why there is the Tea Party Movement. They are tired of the established guard and want to see things change....although they have been portrayed by the media as racists.

After all the shhh that Bush and Cheney did in office, now they want change after a black guy just happens to be in office. :whatever: Not saying that all in the Tea Party are that way but honestly, some of the TP rallies do look like Klan meetings and even some of the things they say........................sound like Klansmen.

It'll be a cold day in hell before an independent candidate is elected president. The electoral system is one of the most broken systems in this country (which, speaking of dissolving the Union, is far too big and might have been better off if the secession of the Confederacy had worked), and the best way to make a change would be if more people didn't vote, letting those in control know that we're upset with the fish or chicken, lesser of two *****ebag choices that we're constantly presented with.

I would rather see America start using the Constitution.

Stop direct election of Senators, bring back capitalism by separating the economy from government, and promote Federalism by neutering the Federal Government.

The most accurate quote Ive probably ever heard is that our greatest difference are our greatest strengths. Good old competition has always helped the US prevail in the end, espec. in politics. There is a lot more balance in our government than people seem to believe.

What seperates us from the other empires that have fallen is that we have the ability to correct our problems before they become to great, the upcoming Republican takeover of congress is an example of that. The progressives have done more than enough, and now the other side will come in fix the problems left by the other side.

Thats what has by and large prevented us from going completely off the deep end in the past.

Except that assumes that the people coming in actually know what the problems left by the other side are - and considering that those from the right are engaged in many of the same basic problems that plague the left, I see know reason to believe that.

What TP rallies exactly, do you have some video, or pics. I've seen some people with posters, but gosh, haven't seen any burning crosses or men in sheets....:o must have missed those.

What people need to realize is that the Tea Party Movement is not isolated to Tea Parties are even people that consider themselves to be apart of it - it's a mindset, not an event.

For example, Kel has said she has not attended any Tea Party event and has been critical of certain aspects of it - however I think, ideologically, she is aligned with what the Tea Party is saying. And in the end, that's all that matters.

I would too if people would justify a consent agreement towards a single interpretation of it. Also, I agree that there needs to be less directed election of the government simply because there needs to be absolute democracy, not aristocracy.

Yep because if there is no burning crosses or sheets, they can't be racist right? :whatever: There has been audio tape and it has been covered in the news about the use of the N word in the crowd.

So the people that hated Bush and Cheney were Black Panthers:huh:

I read a satirical political novel where, at the ending, it implies that the northern blue states eventually secede and join Canada.

Why not, if they are consistently being labelled as not "real Americans," let's take that to the logical extreme. Besides, we could use another 8 or so NHL teams up here.

I don't think the North gets as much flack as the South gets. The South gets made fun of constantly and are considered to be behind the North still 200 years later.

I don't think I have ever heard a nothern state referred to as not being a real American.

I did say some. And I honestly can't remember the Bush/Cheney haters holding rallies about something as minor as his birth certificate. Not saying it didn't happen but I just can't remember it.

Really? Show me some video from those Birth Certificate rallies, that would be interesting to see.

AAAAANNNDDDDD, then they look at job growth and the economy of some of the Southern States and they choke on their own elitist spit.

I think Docker is forgetting about the same birth certificate crap that was used against John McCain as well.

Does that mean that those people were racist?
