Is it weird to want to know if company is over before getting home?

So the short of it? Ticked my lady off. Basically she had a friend over (female friend, not anything like that I'm worried about lol) and I was annoyed because last time she had company over I asked that she give me a courtesy text/call so I know someone is over before getting home from work. Today she had a friend over, I got home from work and was surprised. Didn't want to make things weird, so was nice and all.

After she left (her friend that is), I did ask why she didn't let me know someone was over the house before I got home. She basically said that was not a normal request, and that nobody would care if company was over that they didn't know about. For some reason I like to know before getting home if there is someone else over. Apparently that's like the weirdest thing to her and she thinks it's like asking her to report to me. I don't mean it that way AT ALL though... I just literally like to know if there is company before getting home. Thoughts???

Tell her she's weird to think it's weird to want to know if someone is over before getting home :o Seems like a common respect thing to me  You should have like a bunch of dudes over to watch a football game and not let her know ahead of time. Then maybe the message will be received :D

It sort of depends on how much you communicate, and if you're good friends with your neighbors I guess.

I've talked to her like once before, so don't know her well. Didn't think of it, but yeah that probably did put me off a bit more than if it was someone I knew well. I would always let her know someone is coming over or even ask if it is a good time to have a friend over. Is that weird?

And... If she doesn't give a crap about that?

I prefer to know if anyone is at my place before I get home since I like to know if I can be pantsless immediately or if I have to stay pantsed for a while yet.

That is why you should install one of those nanny cams.. and hook it up to your smart phone.. if someone you don't like is at your house, like a relative or family friend.. run off somewhere and wait until they leave then go back home.

Yes... That's totally not weird or creepy or taking anything to the extreme. :o

next time walk in without pants on

if anyone complains say "sorry i didn't know company was here"

if someone says "you didn't see the guest's car in the driveway?" say "no i was too busy taking off my pants"
