The Dark Knight Is Joker hiding behind a mask?

The Joker is hiding nothing behind his make up. He wears make up because that fits in with Nolan's realistic take on Batman. The Joker has nothing to hide, he has no identity he just is the Joker. I mean when he has his make up it is the Joker, his real face, his actual self, the only time we see Joker without make up is when he is actually hiding, when he is using no make up as a disguise. I mean the Joker could have not worn any make up when he was dressed up as a nurse but he didn't need to hide. The make up is the Joker's real face.

The thing about the Joker character in Nolan's movie is he is such a walking contradiction. He claims to not have a plan, but every single thing is planned to the tee. He calls Bruce out for having a mask, but he hides behind a mask himself. He says it isn't about the money, but he wears designer clothes and enjoys the luxury of money. That's what makes him so unpredictable. Every thing he says he goes against.

I was arguing here; that there was no way any credible law maker/Lawyer would let Joker go to Arkham. Clearly this guys got more brains than most of Gotham put together.

I don't think the Joker made his own clothes. In the meeting, he mocks the mobsters when questioned about his "expensive" attire by telling them that they "paid for them." This may or may not be the case, but I highly doubt he made them. Who is to say that he didn't just rip out all the tags, or tell his tailor not to put any tags in?

I'm sure that a tailor made those clothes and it isn't very cheap, believe me, I know. If you want high quality fabrics and good tailoring, it will cost a lot.

yes the joker does where a mask, (his make up) but it's not to hide who he really is; it's mostly for effect. end of story.

and he's not really hiding his true identity because the joker is his true identity now. what ever life he had b4 he was the joker doesn't exist anymore.
