Is shredder in it?

Nope

The Director comfirmed shredder would not be in the film at comic con.

He's the only villain that everybody knows, who'd they get then as the villain

They will get that rat dude as the villain.

The villains will be various,A ninja girl commanding the foot soldiers, lots of creatures like a giant bat monster lots of mutant creatures,I dojn't remember all the details the footage Munroe showed to us was very rough but cool and it did show that this movie will be more fantasy based than the life action ones.

They said Shredder would be in it but he wasn't going to be a main villain.

Kevin Munroe at Comic Con said that Shredder wasn't the villain. But he implied that we would see something of him maybe at the end. Oh well that's what I think.

Yeah, they're probably gonna set him up to be in the 2nd movie. Just my guess of course.

It was never conceptualized for Shredder to be the main arch-nemesis of the turtles. To essentially be their Lex Luthor.

The movie is honoring that original concept that he isn't.

I like that they are doing something different and not using Shredder. Just like Batman Begins didn't use the Joker. Showed some villains that weren't done for the movies before.

I hope they do make a 2nd movie

I think it's about time we see Krang in a movie... the brain dude... I think that's his name I can't remember. :(

I got no problem with Krang. But Monroe didn't seem to care much for Krang and the alien villain types.

He won't be in this movie.

Sometimes I feel like some people out there don't respect the 80s cartoon. I love the old toons myself. It swept the nation. I love Bebop and Rocksteady.

Someday, I would like to see someone from the cartoon to make an appearance in the sequels. TOO BAD it will never happen..

They respect it, but now they want to bring the turtles back to their darker and grittier roots instead of the Saturday morning silliness it used to be.

I think the original movie and the newer TV series provedit can be successful.

Max Winters? Hmmm. I would rather have Rock Soldiers but we'll see..

I guess Max Winters was the old rich guy in the reel.

As far as the ancient monsters go, one was a giant winged bat like beast. Sort of looked like Man-bat.

The Shredder will be in it. Expect him to be involved with any 'Twist' in the film.
