I will fully agree that thinking the universe the way it stands is the way it is, would be a fool hardy way to live. No person interested in science should merely believe the universe as we understand it is all there is. However, there are limitations to the universe itself, and those should be looked at in this search, rather than using it as a barrier to it. And forgetting them altogether would create the same loss of productivity.
Agreeing to disagree is not a problem.
I'm not saying that there aren't limits. I'm just not sure we agree on what those limits are in some cases.
But yes. Agree to disagree. Always helps. More people need to learn how to do that.
