Is the movie better with or without the end swing?

for the record I think no. peter's friend had just died for pity sake would have been in bad taste to have him swinging and 'whooping' at the end.
the movie ended in a very somber manner and an end swing would have ruined that

no. wraps up trilogy. no need for final swing

this one was more somber but i still wish the wing was there cuz it gives a big finish but this wasvery gentle instead with them dancing

It should of hapened right after Harry's funeral.

I seriously could care less about those awful videogame swings at the end.

They added nothing but a "see how awesome cgi is" feeling that was completely detatched from the realistic camera work done in the rest of the movie. I hated them. This ending was better but it felt empty.

Swing shows Pete's progress and continue to prosper after loss, and this right after a speech would've been great. It worked with the original, and it would've brought the trilogy full circle. The first one ended negatively, and it had a final swing. Besides, we got a shyitty ending anyway, as well as the fact it is basically a tradition. It's like not having the Xavier monologue before an X-Men movie. Oh wait?

;)

the movie felt empty at the end but I knida perfer it that way as they had just lost a friend and just got back together after 'that' smack

It seemed like an artsy fartsy moment when MJ and Peter embrace at the end. It's supposed to have some sort of deep meaning, but I thought it was just a way to cover up the fact that they didn't know how to end the movie.

There are too many unanswered questions. Did Peter move into Harry's mansion house? Did Harry leave them millions and that's why they're happy? What's their status now, back to just being friends? Boom movie over.

Nah...Harry was dead,MJ is a wreck,Peter is a wreck..not really an "end swing" type of feeling going on...............:csad:

In my opinion, it should have ended after Harry's funeral. If there was a swing, it should've tied in with a monologue consisting of the basic idea that '"With great power, comes great responsibility." That's the legacy Uncle Ben left to me. Until now, I had thought I knew what it meant. Now I know that I also have a responsibility to myself. Revenge and guilt are poison; forgiveness is the only cure. We have to forgive ourselves, or we will lose who we are. I've forgiven myself. Someday, I hope Eddie will understand what it means to forgive. Maybe then, he won't feel incomplete. In the end, all we have is ourselves. I almost lost myself, but I'll never forget who I am, and who I always will be: Spider-Man.' Swing. Credits.

I'm keeping that for later. Now edited because I went on a monologue rampage :).

That's the point. MJ is a wreck. Peter is a wreck. Their close friend just died. There's nothing sure about their future anymore, but they know they need to be there for one another.

The ending worked better than that swing endings.

Why not have Doc come back in a time train and explain why their paper is blank instead?

i was absolutely flabergasted by the lack of an end swinging sequence. It blew my mind. I so look forward to those. NOt only that... I'd imagine you want to end on an upbeat for a summer blockbuster movie...get those repeat dollars.... the ending the way they have it is a real downer.

I thought the end sequence from the first movie was amazing.

One final scene where you find out Bernard the butler is guilty of everything that wasn't explained in the movie. :)

Those have to be the most pointless questions I've ever heard. What does Peter moving into Harry's house or Harry leaving them millions have to do with anything?

To me, I think it wouldn't have felt right to end at Harry's funeral because this movie was more about Peter and MJ, not Harry.

Nah...everything went to Bernerd. As far as Bernerd's concerned, everything went just as he had forseen...

:cue Star Wars Empire music: :ninja:

There is no final swing because,"This maybe the end of Spiderman"..... at least this cast & crew.

Hell, if his b!tch ass would've said something earlier to Harry, he would've saved Harry and Peter alot of trouble. The man knew that Norman was a murderer and everything, and never said a thing.

No.

It was a beautiful ending. Harry was dead and Peter got MJ back. But it is slighlty more realistic as it is a slow healing process that is not loud or full of young love and youth exclamations like in the first two movies, but two people silently coming together. It is a moment that shows they are both adults and have fully grown up. It is also ending where it began, on Peter and MJ, not Spider-Man. And lastly, if this is the last picture of the bunch, ending on Tobey and Kirsten's faces as opposed to CGI is preferable.

In short if you did not like it, watch it in a few years when you are older, thusly.
