The Final Swing

Yeah, you know what I'm talking about -

The end of the film, the final sequence; the money shot that has our hero swinging dynamically through the city.
I can't think of another film that has such a sequence, and it's become a trademark for the series.

What do you think the new sequence will be like?
I have two ideas about this. I'm guessing, based on the darker tone that the publicity shot seems to be hinting at, that the final swing will be either at night or in the rain.
And I'm guessing that it'll be a lot less triumphant than the first two films. More subdued and determined.

Since spidey won't be wearing the symbiote by then,and since Venom will be dead,spidey will have his red and blue suit.For the background,it could be at night.

That could be be quite cool. Especially if they only reveal it at the end of the sequence. His head whips around to face the camera, revealing the true identity of the shadowy figure!

the sillouette thing is too batmanish. And Begins even stole the whole flying into the camera thing from spidey 1, that thief of a movie.

It should end on a kiss under a moonlit nighte or something romantic since it's all about a girl. And I remember a comicbook cover like that once. He should be kissing Betty and not Kirstine.

I like this idea, it would be amazing to see. But didn't THC say Topher Grace becomes a villain at the end? So if we were to follow that path, wouldn't the black suit of found it's way to Brock at the end? Why would Venom be dead already in SM-3? Or did I miss something?



Anyways, I would like to see another ending with Spider-Man swinging like in the previous two films, maybe at nighttime or something.

I would like it to be a little different this time, imagine Spidey swinging to go save MJ or Gwen from Venom or GG2 and then "to be continued..." what a cliffhanger...

if venom survives, they should show him swinging through the city at night, then pan back to spiderman, standing ontop a building watching venom swing, then all a sudden, spiderman jumps off the building towards the camera like he's going after him.......... role credits,

I like the idea of Venom, but that will never happen; we know it has to be Spidey.

The nighttime idea is a great one, so is the idea of him in the rain.

I like the idea of either a nighttime or nighttime/rain web-swinging ending.

The ending should have Spider-Man swinging like the previous films, but this time at night, and then after all is said and done, pan down to some rundown building and we can just make a dark form standing in the window, with two large, souless white eyes watching Spider-Man. And then just then, under the moon light we can make out an evil grin forming.

I'm with Venom4Life on this. The only difference would be to see a full shot of Venom; just for a couple seconds and then the credits role.

Yea, THC did say that. Thing is, everyone involved has been insisting that the movie will not end with a cliffhanger, I guess in the possibility that this will be it for the Raimi, Maguire era. I do think we'll only see Venom for just a few minutes until he dies. I think it'll be one of those things that'll be such a climactic moment for all fans that it would have to only be brief. Think of the end of "Swamp Thing", if you've ever seen it. Something like that.

I think it should be more like SM2... where the scene before when we see the symbiote bond with Eddie, leaving one to make up his or her own mind about what ensues... then a final scene, either MJ and Peter getting married, or Peter at Ben or Harry's grave, or something like that, then a shot just at the break of dawn, from the darkness into the light as he swings onto a skyscraper and then into the screen. Damn, I can see this in my head... my own cinematic brilliance gives me chills .

What if they had spidey swinging with MJ after a wedding? IDK where the hell they are planning on going with this series, but if this is indeed the last one, I say end it with a scene between the newlyweds....
