In Spider-Man 3, the scene where the symbiote bonds with Peter while he’s asleep shows him dreaming about Uncle Ben’s death. Since the symbiote feeds off guilt, anger, and other negative emotions, I’m wondering if it was making him relive that memory on purpose to strengthen its hold on him.
The dream even includes the car thief from the first movie: the guy Peter let go, which makes it feel even more intense and personal.
Was that just a regular nightmare, or was the symbiote messing with him?
