World Is the Symbiote really that bad to anyone?

I don't even consider it a symbiote. A symbiote gives & takes in equal measure. The thing is a parasite. And it was never great with Spidey. It used him & drained him, and all he ever got in return was webbing, quick changes & a place to keep his keys. Convenience for your life is not an even trade.

Parasitism is a type of symbiotic relationship.

There are three basic types of symbiosis.

- Commensalism
- Mutualism
- Parasitism

And as for the topic at hand, yes I'd keep the symbiote.

I think a large part of it isn't necessarily that the symbiote is uncontrollable, i think it's more of the fact parker isn't strong willed enough to allow himself to do so.

ben reilly kept the carnage symbiote in check regardless of all the urges, it wanted him to kill and so forth

saying this though, even the silver surfer had trouble controlling the carnage symbiote.

personally i think it all comes down to the individual

There was no struggle for dominance in Peter's case. It took over while he slept. There was nothing he could do there. Again, we keep thinking about the movies & cartoons where it messed with his personality. In the comics that didn't happen. Upon realizing what it was he wanted it gone. Plain & simple. It was feeding off him & he wasn't having that. In Ben's case (no way in HELL does he have more strength of will than Peter) it was simply a matter fo him not being Carnage. His true nature won. Brock simply didn't question which urges were his & which ones were the symbiote's.
