Is the Wii just a fad or is it here to stay??

Although the graphics may suffer a bit, Bioshock on the Wii would be a trip. Injecting plasmids by literally shoving the wiimote into your forearm.

Well yeah if you have a PS3 or 360 why work backwards and get a Wii.

I am getting a Wii first and when the PS3 takes off with the better games and the price drops then whammy I will get a PS3.

I got a 360 before a Wii, don't see how I'm working backwards, I care more about gameplay than graphics though and Nintendo's products always excel at producing great games. While Zelda and Metroid might not be look as good as Gears of War, Halo or Bioshock, they're still loads of fun to play. I've had every major Nintendo console released and while it might not always have the most power, it still produces some of the best games.

After Nintendo's Conference yesterday, I don't think the Wii is just going to fade away like some keep trying to say.

Some awsome stuff on the way, and some major support by a third party.

Don't you mean will have even better games? They don't have many great games now, at least ones that aren't out on other systems. Plus those third party games come out later on the PS3, Half Life Orange Box being the latest example.
