Who on the current WWE roster (NXT included) would you guys want to see go at it in a 60 min Iron Man match?

I think you hit the nail on the head before when you said a healthy Bryan vs Cesaro. No way that's not match of the year.

I read that The Rock was the second highest paid actor in 2013 earning $52 million.

I honestly do not get that. He has never been in a mega hit where he was the leading star. I guess his agent really worked his magic based on his supporting role in the Fast &Furious.

Amazing to think he has been paid that much for being a poor man's Arnold

It shouldn't be a mystery. Rock has been a workhorse in Hollywood, especially over the last 5 years. He's also made the cross-genre transition earlier than Arnold did. Some of that is due to Hollywood and critics no longer having a bias against the action genre (that was a serious problem 30 years ago), but it's also due to Rock doing his homework on his craft.

While I never doubted that Rock would be a huge action star, and branch out into goofy comedies, I never dreamed that 10 years into his career he would already have roles like the ones in Snitch and Gridiron Gang. He's also helped by his unique look, which probably would have been a hindrance in Arnold's day.

I'm surprised it took Rock this long to be in a comic book movie. But....Shazam???? :awesome: Boarding the hype train on that! I'm gonna at Comic-Con so I hope it's officially announced there.

Iron Man matches I'd like to see are

Bryan vs Dolph
Rollins vs Cesaro

He already confirmed that's not going to happen due to the character of Green Lantern already being done in a movie before.

Shazam probably needs someone like The Rock to sell, but I'm thinking he could make a badass, but at the same time hilarious, Lobo.

A couple more for the Paige gif train:

"The wrestling thread is gonna love this"

Personally I do not see why guys are going gaga over Paige. To me she is an average looking woman at best. But Just like I find Gail hot and others do not, to each their own :)

It's the female wrestler effect. Her being a wrestler and good looking makes her hotter. Same with AJ. Outside the uniform they are average , but knowing they are athletic takes then up a couple notches.

Paige is far from average looking to me. And Aj on top being a wrestler is a comic geek and that just adds to her cuteness.

I call that the "diva makeover".

Whenever a female wrestler works the indies, I don't think many people care much about their looks; I'm sure they do but usually it's about how they go in the ring, unless they're a valet. But once they get to the E and there's make-up people around, that's when their looks start to get a bit more attention.

We noted before that WWE was still planning a babyface push for Cesaro but that it was on hold until they "needed it." It appears after this week's WWE events that they may be going in a different direction with Cesaro's push. Regarding Cesaro as a babyface, he was planned for a significant push at the end of this summer but the decision was made, even before Daniel Bryan went down with an injury, that the big babyface focus would be put on getting Roman Reigns to the top.

There has been a lot of talk within WWE lately about John Cena's movie career. PWInsider noted that some of the wrestlers have joked that Cena will start "bringing it via satellite" soon.

We noted that Cena will be missing several upcoming WWE events due to filming of The Nest and Trainwreck.

There have been people backstage speculating that if Cena's movie work takes off, given how banged up he is, he could be the next one to walk away from WWE for a Hollywood career in the next few years.

John Cena should team up with Mark Wahlberg as bros in a movie

I'm taking a wild guess that the movie you're describing would take place in Boston.

lol or they create a sequel where they merge The Marine and The Shooter together and we are told they are bros

I still don;t understand the being able to concentrate on one performer ata time. Cesaro should be pushed along with Reigns so an eventual match between the two would be a huge deal. Cesaro is exactly the kind of opponent who can help Reigns along. I'm still hoping for a Sheamus turn and a Reigns vs Sheamus for the US title.
