so I just watched a news segment briefly discuss the WWE and the Lana/Rusev skit that mentioned the Malaysia Airline tragedy.

while I think it's legit to discuss whether it was too soon ( or even appropriate ) to use the event in the skit, one mentioned that this just encourages the audience to hate America.

and I'm like.............what??

The whole point of the Lana/Rusev skits is not to encourage us audience to hate America.........it's to encourage us to hate Lana/Rusev and thus cheer the patriotic hero who kicks their ass.

.......even if that hero is Swagger..........

Sorry for all the nostalgia today, I've been sitting down watching Iron Man matches all afternoon and thinking of how much I miss them.

Currently watching HHH and Benoit's Iron Man match on Raw. Definitely good too IMO, when HHH wants to he really proves he's one of the best in the ring. One of the most unexpected 60 minute guys.

Jon Stewart brought it up on The Daily Show last night. We went on a rant about Rusev winning because Swagger was off his game from Cesaro dumping him as his tag team partner.

Even though both CM Punk and WWE haven't really mentioned Punk's departure much since it happened way back in January, WWE is said to be very upset with how it went down. It's believed there are "serious issues" between both parties at the moment. Punk's contract expired last week.

While it looks like the expiration of Punk's contract and his removal from the main roster went smoothly, WWE isn't happy with the entire situation. There are some who believe that WWE may end up taking some kind of action against Punk for the way he left the company. However, The source didn't elaborate on what that action could be.

Regarding WWE separating Heyman from Cesaro, it all has to do with differentiating Cesaro from Lesnar and putting all of the Heyman focus back on Brock.

I agree, it's almost a waste of breath to praise a Paul Heyman promo anymore. I think it would take Heyman more effort to deliver a dud promo than a good one.
