Well, which is better?

I personally prefer Morrowind. The land of the dark elves seemed much more...mystical to me than Cyrodil. Not to say Oblivion isn't great...Morrowind just pulled me in a little more.

NO MORE THAN WE'VE PLAYED, IT'S HARD TO JUDGE FAIRLY. BUT, I'D SAY 'OBLIVION', JUST FOR THE BETTER VARIETY IN SIDE QUESTS ALONE.

I won't vote, since I don't believe my vote would be fair. But I will say that Oblivion has sucked me in greatly, and I continue to have a blast with it every time I pick it up.

I've only played Morrowind for all of about 10 minutes. I had no idea what I was doing and how to go about doing whatever. I dropped it very quickly. But I'm willing to bet I just didn't give it nearly enough time to get a fair sense of the game.

Thus I will not vote.

Ironic, as Oblivion has fewer of them.

I'd say it is a tie. Morrowind gets points for being bigger, longer and having a better main story than Oblivion.

Oblivion gets points for more variety in side-quests, better music, gameplay and interface.

From what little I've played, Oblivion seems far better. Just in every way.

Better graphics (draw distance is a big deal for a game like this), more "lively" characters, better controls, more intricate dungeon design...

There was this feeling of holy **** in Morrowind, at least when I travelled eastward... But it lacked something which Oblivion has.. I dunno they're different..

I'd give the overall edge to Oblivion.

Mind you that given an extra seven years of advancements, a sequel to Ultima Ascension would blow them both away. Damn you Electronic Arts!!!!

Walkable terrain? :D 50% of Morrowind's map was untraversable.

If you had high athletics you could get up all but the most vertical cliff faces in Morrowind.

I did, but it was still a pain walking over the mountains. Eventually I just had so many levitate spells that I warped everywhere.

Man, Morrowind was such a cool game. I can't wait until I get deeper into Oblivion this summer. :D

haha, very true, and then there were those damn cliffracers.. though the imp throes of pain are just as annoying.

It will probably be the only thing you'll get deeper into ;)

Those cl*t racers were the worst enemy in a game since the frogginators in Daikatana. Stupid annoyances... And those freaking imps that made that "Reeeeehhhh" call, which physical weapons (for some reason) couldn't hurt them... oh my god, someone give me a gun!

Scamps I think those were. But cliffracer are annoying. I cringed everytime I heard that rustling sound followed by reeerororer.
