Which ever one in which she could kill a man by crushing them with her thigh's BEFORE she got to Earth.

He shoots, he scores... In this case, literally.

In both cases literally.

I have to be, we're one week off TFA and I have to get my affairs in order before fleeing to the East

Give my regards to Wicket and his lovely band of cannibals.

We talking frey pies in that gif there?

It's actually a lovely little dish called Sanguinaccio Dolce. Perhaps I can have the pleasure of preparing it for you some time? There is, after all, no hospitality like that of the Dreadfort's.

"Journalistic restrictions makes a country more known via credible journalistic reports."

Just saw a video about it on YouTube.

Roose - I put up a first-pager in the Future Authors thread. I'd like to know if it gives you a good feel for Volker's character. Anyone else is also free to chime in.

You threw me into the world too deeply, I'm not even sure what's going on. Is that like a Steven Erikson where you throw us into the deep end?

Reminds me a bit of this: http://www.amazon.com/Mathion-Book-Legacy-Wolven-Trilogy-ebook/dp/B00ENQBM9K

But I think the author of that book wasn't as harsh in dropping us into a compeletely different world. Give it a read, you never know, might get some inspiration. :yay:

I remember watching Terminator 2 many times as a kid and hating Sarah Connor because I thought she was some crazy ***** that kept doing stupid things. As an adult that understands more things she's become one of my favorite parts of the movie. Linda Hamilton really did some great work with that role. I wish they did more with her as Sarah.

Thank you for the read, Stannis.

I'm a big fan of Erikson's worldbuilding and the way he handles the thematic elements in his Malazan series. My goal here is to combine that with the accessibility of Joe Abercrombie's First Law novels, or his more recent Shattered Sea series. That said, I have some ideas on how to throw more emphasis on who Volker is with a more gradual ease into the setting.

Where is this Future Authors thread? Also why haven't I heard pf it before?
