agreed. I think I am one of the few who doesn't care for The Wolverine.

I actually liked the Wolverine a lot until the 3rd act, but I'm one of the few who also doesn't care for Singer's 1st two films. The only redeeming factor of X2 for me was the Nightcrawler action sequence, tbh.

X2 is extremely overrated. of the X films First Class is easily my favorite.

The third act is definitely the weakest, where it goes into more standard CBM fare. Before then the film was basically a quiet character driven piece with periods of action interspersed.

Wolverine didn't impress me. I'm tired of Jackman as Logan and the hard-on Fox has for him. I feel the MCU has been vastly superior to FOX-Men in every conceivable way. Admittedly, they were only able to achieve that from watching Fox screw their properties up for as long as they did

Replace "Wolverine" with "Iron Man" and "Jackman" with "Downey" and Fox with Marvel and you have my feelings exactly. I wish that Marvel had the depth and craft of the X-Men films.
