Wow, there have been major improvements in EV training your Pokemon for competitive use. Also, many Hoenn easter eggs too.

Who's your starter, and being as vague as possible, what do you think of Team Flare?

It's been reported that you can catch Kanto starters (at least in their stage 1 forms) in the Safari Friend zone. Every friend you have on your 3DS (doesn't have to be local, they don't have to have X or Y either) affects what you encounter.

Ok to anyone who has it can you tell me how soon do you get. Kanto starter and at what point can you trade between x and y

You get the Kanto starters very early. You get the Kalos starter from someone, then you meet the Professor and get a Kanto starter from him.

Picked Fennekin. Felt unfaithful going with anything but the fire starter

Who's your starter, and being as vague as possible, what do you think of Team Flare?

My starter is Fennekin.

I haven't ran into Team Flare yet. I have heard that if you want a more brutal end part, I think it's best to get Y. Not really sure if both versions have some brutal stuff regarding Team Flare or the legendary Pokemon.

When you save in this game, it's really quick!

My 3D is off and in some battles, the framerate takes a bit of a dive, especially in those battles that have leaves blowing through.

@Victarion - so far, it seems that Team Flare reminds me of Team Magma with the beautiful world thing. So far. They seem a bit enigmatic right now.

Yeah, Amazon is usually pretty good, even with the free shipping I get games I pre-ordered either day of or a day or two after, not a ****ing week or more. First Pokemon I've gotten since the GBA days and grumble, grumble, grumble....

Unless Amazon offers release day delivery, just get it from a store. Especially since you have to pay sales tax on Amazon in a lot of states now.

Tennessee is one that still doesn't have the tax, at least not yet (I think it kicks in sometime next year). And usually, they're better than this. I had it paired with something else, so maybe that's why, though that item came out last month :/

Wow, everything feels so fast and smooth as speed goes. Saving's fast, battles are fast, etc. It's easy to get to different sections in the menu. It's a shame that in some battles, the frame rate takes a dive.

Finally ran into a shady character. Creeps me out.

I wasn't going to get X or Y anytime soon, but I think I've changed my mind. I know the new Pokemon, but there's still so little out there as to where to find them, how to evolve, etc. That sense of mystery makes them more exciting to play. I don't want to miss out on that.

I'm thinking about about going out to GS or Wal-Mart and getting Y for the **** of it since X is going to be late. I wasn't going to get both versions, but when I was into Pokemon before, I always did anyway. I'd forgotten the sickness.

So in the short while that I have been playing I've caught a Carerpie, a Panpour, a Pidgy, and a Pikachu all are favorites of mine! This game is boss.

Haven't heard good things about Post-game, though.
