Pokémon It's the Pokemon thread - Part 2

Yeah, they missed a real opportunity to have a cool possessed suit of armor on that one.

Well, since we have a "Mega Evolution", maybe someday, we'll have a Fusion Evolution as well.

Heck, I'm still waiting to see an Angel/Guardian like pokemon appear and debut into the franchise.

I would totally like to see that, it could be in the Fairy class.

Please please please please please don't make Blissey a Fairy-type. I like my Blissey to be Normal thank you.

I have never been a fan of Pokémon based off of inanimate objects. Among all of those Pokémon, Doublade's line is my favorite.

10 days from the release date. I'm mostly excited only because I want to see the new Pokemon and hear more about the game. Still not 100% sold on buying it in the near future.

A second form of Mega Charizard has been revealed.

I know right? It's blue, which is epic, but is it necessary? Mewtwo was fine, but if every single on get's two mega versions that's overkill.

It's also Fire/Dragon...which is what the other, better looking Mega Charizard should be a well.

Vindication at last.

EDIT: Found this on /vp/, so take it with a grain of salt. It is allegedly the starters' stage 2 forms.

The dual-typing doesn't fit in with how it usually goes the reverse, now they have double advantage on each other.

I find them to be okay, better than Serperior and Emboar for sure.

But Spidey-Bat, that's never been a thing before.

I'm drawing a blank with the starter sets where any of them had a secondary type that "reversed" their type disadvantage. In fact, only this next gen and the 4th gen gave us final starters where they all had two types.

I'm really hoping Greninja is fake. It (too me) would be the inversion of what they all went through.
Chespin & Fennekin got "meh" looking second forms, while Froakie got an all right second, now Froakie gets a dumb-looking final, and the others look okay in their finals.

Really wanted Final Chespin to be Grass/Ground. And if that's real, I can actually see how one could see a Football-looking theme with it. It looks more like FB gear than "knight armor".

Looking more likely not-faked.

Gen IV. Infernape was Fire/Fighting, Empoleon was Water/Steel, Torterra was Grass/Ground. Not perfect in going the reverse but it seemed more likely they would go with that instead of double effectiveness, especially since Water/Fighting only has 2 Pokemon despite both being a rather common type and Grass/Dark is unusual, too.

I'll wait and see what the other new Pokemon are. Right now, the only reason I'll consider buying either X or Y in the future is if my girlfriend has one and I'm single right now so that'll be awhile.

I'll put these in spoilers. Found it on this link from Reddit

There's a Fighting/Flying Pokemon named Hawlucha. Looks like a luchador. It learns Flying Press which, while classified as Fighting, the description states it is both Flying and Fighting.

There's a barnacle pokemon. Looks stupid.

Eevees can be found in the wild.

A Farfetch'd can be traded for with an NPC early on (maybe it evolves!?)

Aerodactyl will have a Mega form since there is an Aerodactylite item.

You'll encounter old pokemon fairly early on.

Which reminds me, a Mega Arcanine has the chance to make me excited (even though I used one in White 2).

And if you wanted to see Greninja without a tongue scarf (which I find stupid), here's a fan-art of it.

All the starter's final evos look horrendous.

Ah well, first time I won't be picking the fire starter. Froakie it is, silly tongue scarf or not.

Thank you for that. That would have been super nice if it were the route they went.

Oh, yeah, what did I come here for...

...yes, a new leak claiming these are the list of Mega Pokémon in the game (supposedly, this leaker hacked their game and saw all the items in the game cart's coding, including Mega Stones, since all Mega Stnes are named literally after who can use it...) If true:

My team:

Geninja
Heliolisk
Charizard X

I'm really torn on which starter. Not a fan of Fennekin.

Greninja and Venusaur or Chesnaught and Blastoise for Water and Grass
Pyroar(m) or Talonflame for Fire
Hawlucha or Pangoro for Fighting
Noivern or Tyrantrum or the Goomy for my Dragon-type

Other 2 spots are TBD

A set of keys? Do they not even try anymore?
