I could have the wrong person, but isn't this what Matt M does? Basically just uses the game to train his pokemon from previous games, and usually just rushes through them?

Kinda sorta yes-ish. I don't feel like I rush through the games, and this time I didn't have the option of using any Pokemon from past games. Pokemon X is definitely a great game, I just wish it was longer. I still have the Looker missions and I suppose I could start rolling through the Battle Maison, I just keep hoping we'll get another post game like Silver and Gold had. Beat 8 gym leaders and the Elite Four and you get 8 more gym leaders and some super badass trainer after that. I just felt like with the 3DS and it's capabilities we could have gotten a much larger game.

My playtime after just beating the Elite Four is 35:36. I'm going to be putting way more hours into the game in terms of EV training and putting together a rad new team, but the story could have been bigger. Just my opinion.

I beat the main game earlier today. Plowed through two of the Elite Four, but the Water and Dragon ones were a *****; I almost lost to both. The champion wasn't too bad, though.

Was a bit disappointed that the Unknown Cave was just Mewtwo, was expecting more of a bigger challenge. Outside the battle mansions, is there anything else to do post-game? In the old'n days I would've gone on to filling out the Pokedex, but when seeing that it had 700+ Pokemon I'm just filling like yeah, no. I mean, it would be a challenge and all, but can you even fill out the whole thing in just X & Y? Are there seriously that many Pokemon between these two games? Jesus, I don't think I could even put a dent in all that.

I can't believe what I did yesterday...I bought the nintendo 3ds xl yesterday after I saw it on sale at best buy for $169...I'm not into handheld consoles but for the past 3 days whenever I read up on games this pokemon x and y game showed up and looked amazing...brought me childhood memories of when I was playing gameboy with pokemon red.

This games just looks incredible. I am a avid sony fan and was going to get the ps4 but no reason for me to get it until another year and a half or so once bugs and games I prefer out....so pretty much I spent $200 bucks just to play the new pokemon...lol I'm 26 but damn guys that game looks legit and this 3DS xl is nice...Time to rock this and ps3 for a while.

Here's the strange thing: When you kept requesting me for a battle, I accepted each time but I said no to Game Chat. But when I finally said yes to Game Chat, then we could battle. What does this mean?

It's because that's an old video where I had different hair. Now I've dyed it black (with blue eyes too) via the hairdresser in Lumiose City.

That's sweet I can't wait for Pokemon Bank and stuff. That'll make all this even more fun! I love online battling but I have to improve and give you a more interesting challenge.

It's in Luminose City.

But you have to battle Serena at the city where the Battle Mansion is at and then meet the Professor at Anistar City for a upgrade to your mega evolution thing.

After you do that, go to the North side of Luminose City and you'll have Looker contact you.

How is the online? And how come pokemon amie runs while I am playing the main game

Online? Not sure but for me, it's pretty smooth so far but people have reported lags and stuff. For me, hardly any problems.

You can change what you see in the bottom screen. There's Super Training, Pokemon Amie and PSS. I normally keep it on PSS because of online but it's up to you. Only problem with PSS is that when you're online, it keeps giving you useless messages which can be annoying.

I think PSS is one of the best things to happen for this series regarding online play.
