This needs a trailer though. I'm shocked it still hasn't come.

Indeed but I am just saying I don't see Christmas 2013 being packed. Any real competition for this movie will have been a week or two old by the time it releases

Our local distributor had some discussions with Paramount and they definitely wanna start '14 season here with Jack Ryan so it should stay.

This movie is up against Keanu Reeves & Ben Stiller on Christmas Day. It will be fine. The Anchorman 2 hype will have died down pretty damn quickly & maybe the only real competition will be The Hobbit. But by the time this movie comes out that will have been a two week old movie

There's also Saving Mr.Banks and American Hustle.

Any promotion would be good at this point.

Just photoshop a picture of one of those sets pictures of Pine on a Motorcycle in front of an explosion then the text can be Starring That Guy From Star Trek on the top then Jack Ryan on the bottom

Just adding to your post Irish.
The new Chris Pine-led Jack Ryan film is titled 'Jack Ryan: Shadow One.' Expect the first trailer soon.

It'd be nice if the trailer came out tomorrow.

Jack Ryan was fine.

With Paramount's 'Jack Reacher', maybe it's not. Along with the failures of 'Alex Cross' and 'John Carter', maybe it's best to 'brand' the franchises more creatively.

So I'm happy with Jack Ryan: Shadow ONE!

Yeah, the whole Jack Reacher/Alex Cross/John Carter/Jack Ryan thing was severely getting on my nerves. Give it a damn title - don't just give us a name. You're not making Forrest Gump - it's not some epic life-affirming journey.

I would just call this Shadow One, personally.

I don't understand; the actual titles for those projects were so much more badass:

One Shot
Cross
A Princess of Mars

Wonderful titles. Grrr.

I've often said before, if James Bond as a series never existed until now, the first Bond film would've been called "James Bond".
