Agreed. Film blogs and reports mixed with social media has turned the internet into something else recently. It's a bit insane if you think about it.

a SHIELD agent fighting the elementals with Spider-Man. But the plot twist is that the elementals are actually illusions created by Mysterio.

Jesus Christ, they knocked it out of the park. He looks 100% Comic accurate and it still works.

The whole fake persona and larger-than-life look fits this portrayal of a guy that's all smoke and mirrors and pass himself as a hero...

From the brief bit we got of Mysterio, he looked awesome.

To the people complaining he is a hero/good guy; if you recall Mysterio's first appearance, he was masquerading as a good guy. I bet that's the case here. I wouldn't be surprised if Hydro-Man and the rest are his own creations.

I hope he's not actor a SHIELD agent at least, just posing as one. I'd rather not have be an agent that just turned, but more a con-man who worked his way into SHIELD.

I'm wondering if the Elementals are actually some sort of elaborate special effect of his or if they actually exist in some capacity and they're allied with him.

Could make for a nice twist when Spider-man unravels that it's smoke and mirrors but when he's very confident that the big sand monster isn't there, he gets pummeled to the ground by a very real Flint Marko

I really liked the first look we got of Mysterio in this trailer. I'm very curious about what Mysterio's motivations will be in this movie. It should be very interesting to find out why he does what he does.

He looks good, IMO. I think Marvel have stepped it up with the villains in the last few years. I liked Zemo, Ego, Vulture, Kilmonger and Thanos (who for me, is up there with Loki as the best in the MCU and one of the best CBM villains in general) in recent years, so I do expect Mysterio to be a good villain, and I am looking forward to him a lot more than I used to look forward to MCU villains.

I do like Mysterio's look. Hopefully he's as good a villain as Vulture.
