James Bond: 007 - Spectre - Part 10

Hinx was cool but his involvement didn't make a lot of sense to me. Blofeld apparently wanted Bond to come to his secret base so he could torture him. So why did Hinx show up on the train and try to kill him?

Like I've said before, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but a lot of it didn't make sense.

Why did Hinx waited that long to attack? Did he snuck on the train later that night? And now?
