Anyone placing bets on who doing the theme for this join?!
My money is on Paloma Faith or a return for Adele

Oh wow Palma faith would be amazing.
Adele would be too much I think. It would be too skyfall, like they're not really making a new movie just copying the last one because it worked so well.
Still got fingers crossed for sam smith
The script spoilers have me worried. Is it actually available online, or did someone just read it and tell he interwebs what they thought?
Thanks for the info. Hoping for the best but yeah that is definitely a concern. You and me both. The leaks are printouts of script notes in email/text message format. I saw them, but they may have been taken down since then. However, some reputable sources at the Commander Bond forums confirmed that the leaks are from Logan's early drafts and early Purvis and Wade drafts at the latest. The suggestion is that the script has been overhauled greatly since the leaked script notes, so that is reassuring. Nevertheless, the most problematic spoilersregarding Blofeld's motivation and how it relates to Bond seems to be a constant in the leaks, like they are one of the key ideas around which the story was crafted, and as such are unlikely to change.
Ya know, I would be perfectly ok with Adele being this Bond generation's Shirley Bassey.Worked fine for Shirley Bassey back in '71 and '79
Is it really legitimately bad or are we just being drama queens here?
In one scene involving Bond wearing a mask (like those Eyes Wide Shut masks or something) and infiltrating a secret meeting thing someone asks him who he is supposed to be and Bond says "I'm Mickey mouse, *******. Who are you?" That's from a picture of a script page.
So the dialogue may be pretty questionable in parts.
The execs are freaking out about the third act. Apparently it's boring and makes no sense.
Oh and this is a major spoiler so proceed at your own risk:
The studio notes, if you read the script, are accurate. The problems seem to start when Bond meets the villain, a mysterious man named Heinrich Stockmann, who also uses the alias Franz Oberhauser, played by Christoph Waltz. In an irritating expository monologue, Stockmann confesses over dinner that he is Bond's older foster-brother and also the head of a terrorist organization named Spectre.
I'd post a link but the source has pictures of the script on the page and I don't want to get the Hype in hot water.
I hope to God they change that cause it sounds incredibly contrived and awful.
First of all, that Mickey Mouse line is hilarious and I will give this film all my money if they keep it in.
Second, there has to be more than meets the eye here. That just sounds too ridiculous for these guys to actually contemplate doing in the film.
if QOS was effected by the strike how come TDK who came out the same year didn't? I guess because BB was in 2005.....they had some extra time or did I miss something
I pm'd you. There's a lot more. Too much for me to post here. Let me know what you think once you've read more. I'm not all doom and gloom just yet. My main concern is that they are pretty intent on overhauling the third act during principal photography. We all know how bad that can turn out.
True, but the last time (I'm aware of) that this happened on a John Logan script was Gladiator, and that turned out just fine. It doesn't sound too unsalvageable to me, so I'm not worried. I didn't know that about Gladiator. Considering that plus the mid production death of one of the main actors in the film it's a wonder that film turned out so well let alone grabbed a Best Picture Academy Award.
I guess one thing that's keeping me positive at the moment is Mendes. Skyfall when really put under a microscope isn't the most "sound" script in cinema. The film and it's machinations come apart if one gives it too much thought. But as a film under Mendes's direction and with the actors involved it works and I can ignore some of the more questionable things and really enjoy it. Maybe that's how it will be with this. As a script maybe Spectre doesn't read all that well, but once it's directed and it's on screen it might be really enjoyable. That's what I'm telling myself at the moment anyways.
Plus it's only the third act of the script that seems to be problematic. The first two acts are apparently good.
Oh andVesper is involved somehow. Bond finds some kind of tape or home film of hers or something, but doesn't watch it. Idk what that is about exactly. It's mentioned in one of the exec's emails about the script.
Judi Dench's M has a role to play in the film too. She's still dead, but has one last mission for Bond. She sent him something just before she died or set something up so it would go to him in the event of her death. It's not really clear.
However, now I'm getting anxious as there are rumors going around about Sony halting production on its films due to the leak;
http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2014/12/12/hacked-sony-reportedly-shuts-production/
Sony are in a risky position. This hack has aired dirty laundry and damage control is in order, but I'm not sure they will halt any films in principal photography. Could just be hype. Fox News might just be trying to get page hits. Has this been reported by any other sites?
Bond isn't only a Sony production. I doubt they could get everyone else to agree to shut down the production.
