Has he ditched the PPK?

I doubt it. Bond often uses others' weapons in big action sequences. Probably a henchman's gun he grabbed or something. I doubt he gets that plane from MI6, so maybe he also took the gun from the rightful owner?

There are always emotive, absolute comments when it comes to Bond. That he's 'ditching' martinis for good, or turning his back on Aston Martin, or throwing away Walther as his preferred firearm. The media tried to argue Bond had sold his soul to Heineken, and that was now his drink of choice. And as well all know, the martinis haven't gone anywhere. Not that there's anything wrong with variety.

People always complain that there aren't enough older women in Bond films well now's the perfect time. They're actually hotter than some of the younger women.

Just got back from seeing kingsman. I had a lot of fun but I'm glad sony went in the direction they went in with casino Royale. I tend to like my spy flicks a bit more stylish and tense.

Still it'll be interesting to see who is more memorable? Mr Hinx or gazelle

I get that but the reason I ask is that it looks a bit like a P99 to me. So do both Bond and the bad guys use Walthers? EDIT: saying that, it could just as easily be a Glock, so ignore what I've just said.

The P99 has a different profile and is a bit more distinctive looking. The P99's trigger guard extends further forward and the barrel appears shorter as a result. The gun Bond is using looks like any other modern semi automatic handgun, from a Glock as you mentioned to a SIGSauer to a Smith&Wesson.

Very excited for this movie. Been such a huge Bond fan for a long time and I really enjoyed Skyfall. Hearing the title "Spectre" gives me goosebumps and I love it.

Gosh I'm dying for a trailer for this. I really feel like a really great spy film now. I tried to track down alex Guinness' tinker tailor soldier spy but I haven't had much luck yet
