Rumors have surfaced that states Raven Software is in development of a new "stealth focused" James Bond title. It also appears that some demo footage of the game has been found:

IMO, im not sure if its footage of a new title, or just old test footage from Blood Stone. However if its new footage, color me stoked as it looks a lot like Blood Stone and i absolutely loved that game.

That really just looks like Blood Stone

It's not Blood Stone, this is for sure a new Bond game. As the article states twice:

As first reported on MI6 just 24 hours ago, it is understood that a new James Bond game that had development suspended by Activision is now underway again due to MGM's financial situation being resolved and the franchise moving forward with green-lights on the game and the 23rd movie, which was also on hiatus. Activision-owned studio Raven Software were reportedly working on the game earlier this year before resources were redirected to produce downloadable map packs for the immensely profitable "Call of Duty" franchise.

It is not clear yet if or when Activision plan to release the 'stealthy' 007 title by Raven Software, but as development was put on ice for six months, fans shouldn't really expect to see anything until this time next year at the earliest.

So this is a new Bond game. The few seconds that were shown for the chase level looked great, hopefully this game picks up where Blood Stone left off. Exciting!

If it's another one with the same gameplay elements as Blood Stone I'll buy it for sure. I loved Blood Stone!

Yeah I really loved Blood Stone too. But the fight sequences and the chase sequence look different, so it's a step in the right direction.

I want them to clean up the cut scenes. For whatever reason in Blood Stone they never looked right

I hope this is a sequel to Blood Stone, i found that game pretty enjoyable. I never really got tired of it once I beat it.

i actually havent played Blood Stone. A few people i spoke to told me some bad things about the game, but Im only hearing good things from you guys. I may have to pick it up now.

What do you want out of it? If you are looking for a good adventure that captures the feeling of being Bond, this is it. If you are looking for a game that revolutionizes everything, then ull be disappointed as everything in this game has been done before in other games.

I'm just looking for a really good James Bond game. As I don't own a Wii, I've played Goldeneye, but don't own it. So Blood Stone looks set for me.

As Pat said, if you want something entertaining that makes you feel like Bond then it's the game for you. If you're looking for something mindblowing then it isn't

I think you'll enjoy the game. I went in to it wanting a good Bond title. A game that captured Daniel Craigs new take on Bond and this game does EXACTLY that. IMO, this is one of the better Bond titles to release. It really does justice to this latest take on the character. The take downs are so brutal and fun to pull off. The gunplay is solid and the driving sections are a great deal of fun. The driving section in Istanbul is particularly awesome. I had as much fun playing Blood Stone as i did watching Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

IMO I think you'll enjoy Blood Stone, definately one of those games that should have gotten a better review than what it did. It really captures the feel of the Craig's Bond, everything works fine, even though its pretty much stuff that you've seen done in other third person shooter games. If you're a Bond fan, I recommend buying it.

Someone over at CBN pointed something out that might have been overlooked...In the end credits, Raven Software is listed under "Special Thanks", so their involvement is pretty much confirmed.

I really hope that the new James Bond game ends on being amazing, because it will very important for, not only the 007 rights being with Activision (that´s not really important for us gamers, but for Activision), but for Raven Soft.
Raven Software comes from two flops, the new Wolfenstein and Singularity.
The way i see it, if they don´t have a hit with the next game, Raven might be sold (which would be great to run away from Kotick) or closed (it would be awful as i really like the dev team).

As for Blood Stone, i´m happy that you are guys are liking, as it was a game that i really wanted for them to get right...being it an original James Bond story.
But the review were not the best, so i was expecting the worst

The Bond rights have nothing to do with the product that Activision releases. They signed a deal to use that license for X amount of time, they're gonna keep releasing title until they make a profit from that license. If they don't turn a profit then they just won't renew that license when the time comes.

As for Blood Stone, the only ppl who seem to not like it are journalist. Just about everyone iv talked to, be it here or other individuals, have seemed to have a lot of fun with the game. As long as u aren't expecting a revolutionary title and are a Bond fan, the game is an enjoyable title

That´s were i was getting at, if the game is another flop, who owns the James Bond will not renew it with Activision.

It basically comes down to who is willing to pay for it. Im assuming EON or the Broccoli estate owns the rights to James Bond as a whole and they can decide where each license goes, but if Activision is willing to pay, it doesnt really matter what they do with the game, i doubt EON would say no. Altho it could end up like the Bourne license, where the Ludlum estate decided to take the license to EA.

Meh. The PS2/GCN/Xbox gen had one really good third person shooter Bond game called Everything or Nothing. It wasn't great...but it was almost there and the closest to greatness the brand has come since the original Goldeneye. But since the third-persons (FRWL, Blood Stone) have been as unimaginative as the FPS copycat Bond games have been for over a decade...albeit Wii's Goldeneye is a step in the right direction and another almost great game. But I consider that to be a fluke.

You dont need to be that imaginative with Bond. You dont need to reinvent the wheel with that character. Have good gunplay, fun driving sections, neat story and cool hand to hand combat and thats all ya really need. I mean thats Bond.

Except Goldeneye (1997) did reinvent the wheel. It was for the N64/PS1 generation what Halo was to the Xbox/PS2 generation, and COD4/MW2 have been to this generation. The definitive FPS...the game changer.

Generic, average games that have pretty graphics and phoned in gameplay can be amusing diversions. But 13 years later and the gaming community still lingers for the brand to reach the level of greatness that Goldeneye 007 did.

Now there have been several excellent Bond games that either strayed from the formula (Everything or Nothing) or followed it to satisfying results (Glodeneye Wii). But even now, GE Wii works because it takes the better aspects of Bond and puts them on par with the standards set by Call of Duty.

But wouldn't it be great if Bond was setting the standards other games would follow instead? Just a thought.

I see where you are coming from.

I just dont think we need that level of evolvement. If they can just make a fun game with that character, im all for it, they dont have to induce a new level of gaming. Itd be nice, sure, but so would every other game that released.
