Doom Patrol looked like absolute fuc@@ng crap yet this show Swamp Thing that looks phenomally better gets cancelled episodes short.

This may be the last straw. I've been coming back/forth to these forums over the years... May've not ever come again if not for the huge influx (alerts notifications cellphone, ect.) of comic related content this past decade.

That being said, I'm not the age range this content caters to any more. I'll think about it but pretty sure this will be my final year on these forums or really focusing on comic related content ever again unless there's some other paradigm shifting reason to stay interested. Overall, 4 quadrant movies I lost interest in the late '90's or early 00's so don't know how I got back here.... I'll give it a year to to figure out I suppose. Until then...

Not good enough. In the end you do what you want, but people won’t take you seriously if you call an entire show crap based on a short clip.

It doesn't matter. A lot of people here don't regard much anyways. I respect the fact you like the show as entertainment.

I can't hold interest though when studios keep messing with stuff that's comic related constantly wanting it to fit a certain tone. Grant Morrison I've never really read that much of. Maybe he approves of this? If so, great. If DC or Marvel want to funnel their content through a certain type of filter while siphoning stuff out that doesn't fit that seems to be different I don't see this industry keeping my attention another year is all I'm saying.

There isn’t really a filter in the TV streaming arena. Netflix Daredevil is about as great as it gets. Same with Doom Patrol. Swamp Thing looks amazing. HBO’s Watchmen looks interesting. There is so much variety out there

Yeah, and Netflix cancelled the show which was mainly brought down by it's connection to the other shows that had absolutely no budget put into them. I mean come on Agents of Shield one could tell had so much more budget as did the CW shows not to say story or acting wise they were better but still they could have done better.

HBO's Watchmen I am curious about. The trailer looked ok. The tick tock thing at the end was a bit overkill but the show I am still curious about. Swamp Thing should just move elsewhere as DC streaming obviously doesn't care about making something that doesn't fit through their biased filter it seems to me and I'm just sick of all the meddling that happens too often with comic related properties.

Hard to say honestly. I don’t know how much overlap they’ll allow between CW and DCU properties. My hope is that if SW is another success like DP, then it’ll open doors for *anything* (fingers crossed for Animal Man). I’m still hoping to see a proper Green Arrow adaptation
