Jamie Alexander has a Blindspot

Just finished watching the finale. So Jane isn't Taylor Sif after all. We'll have to come up with a new name for her next season.

The series is actually a little reminiscent of Alias in the whole concept of possibly working for the bad guys but thinking you're working for the good guys, except here no-one quite knows who is who.

BTW, I read that we're going to know Jane's true identity by the end of the first episode of Season 2.

And as for how Jane tested with Taylor Sif's DNA, I find it a bit of a cop out that Oscar had just switched or planted the real Taylor's DNA as a sample. Given that the penultimate episode of Season 1 was about printing babies with DNA so that it was an exact match of a family member, I thought the same explanation would be used as to how Jane appeared to have Taylor's DNA. It would've been a better explanation and seemed like they were setting this up, but it seemed to go nowhere.

The problem there would be how is Jane the same age as Taylor Shaw. But yeah I agree, it was a cop out.

Well I wasn't suggesting that they printed Taylor's DNA onto a baby and waited for it to grow up, but that they printed it onto an adult female, which would explain how Jane seemed to show two different DNA patterns when Patterson examined her.

oh now this has my attention.

‘Blindspot’ Casts Archie Panjabi in Recurring Role for Season 2

“The Good Wife” alum Archie Panjabi will put her investigative skills to good use on “Blindspot” in Season 2, Variety has learned.

Panjabi has been cast in a major recurring role in the mystery thriller’s sophomore season, playing the head of a secret division of the NSA that has been tracking the Jane Doe case from afar.

Great bit of casting, she was fantastic on The Good Wife.

They don't know how old Jane is. They just assumed she's the same age as Taylor when they thought she was Taylor. At most she *looks* like she could be the same age as Taylor.

Blindspot - Season 2 - Luke Mitchell & Michelle Hurd Join Cast
A couple of TV vets have inked (pun definitely intended) deals to join Blindspot as series regulars in Season 2.

Luke Mitchell (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Tomorrow People) and Michelle Hurd (Dardevil, Devious Maids, Law & Order: SVU) will potentially flesh out the backstory of Jaimie Alexander’s mysteriously tattooed Jane, TVLine has learned.

Mitchell’s Roman and Hurd’s character (whose name has not yet been revealed) are members of the shadowy organization that sent Jane to the FBI — sans memory and with those cryptic markings all over her body.

Luke Mitchell was boring on Agents of SHIELD, and now he's on Blindspot to bore us some more.

So this show returns next week on the 14th September.

And no more Taylor Sif. She'll need a new nickname now, unless we still keep that for her anyway.

.... Well then... I didn't expect some of the twists in that...

so she's Alice Krueger from South Africa?... ugh, she DOES need a new nickname...

and does anyone really believe that Shepherd really IS who SHE says she is?... as well as the backstory of Alice?...

Some of it pretty much has to be true, given that Jane has corroborating memories and that Roman said "my sister" at the end. Still, there's definitely some reason for deception there.

While there maybe some lies, it actually all made good sense, and they did dump a lot of info in a way that if they contradict it, it will be messy.

I told my wife as we were watching this tonight: "Watch her turn out to be the villain after all." (Referring to Naz).

Don't forget that even in the very first episodes, they already mentioned that her tooth chemistry seemed to be of someone from South Africa.

So they either followed that up with this, or they were planning on this all along.

Prediction:
Shepard is actually the one who killed their parents or she is the one behind the program to train the kids as killers. Lincoln Roman will then side with her after finding that out and he will die. :awesome:

On a serious note, I kinda like her background especially that she has a brother who I'm sure will die at some point. :funny:

The moment Naz appeared, I thought, "oh the new traitor" but I would love it if the mole turned out to be one of the original members of the gang. Doubt they'd do that though.

Lastly... Oscar > Kurt.

Her brother has now been on 3 showed I watched. The Tomorrow People, SHIELD and Blindspot. Anybody notice the kids names compared to Romulus and Remus(ie the mythical founders of Rome)

So Taylor Sif's real name is Alice Krige the Borg Queen?

And why does Lincoln still have a medical background here?

I thought that Naz will probably be the villain, or if not her then Dr Curtis Connors.

Shepherd got gunned down in Daredevil season 2 after prosecuting the Punisher.

Half the people in this show are from Marvel. We've got the waitress from the Avengers working on the tattoos.

Weller's boss is the most likely to be the mole. Sandstorm got rid of Mayfair in order to get him involved in the task force and make sure that Weller remained the lead investigator on the case. He's also played by the most well known actor and is therefore the guilty individual :)

When was Curtis Conners brought in? Was he there at the end of last season? Or did he just show up this first episode of season 2? He often plays villains.

He's been there at least since Mayfair was under house arrest.

Guilty party speculation:

I'm going to predict the psychiatrist. Not in a position to do anything himself (hence the need to put Jane in play), but someone who would be able to observe Jane and Weller and encourage things along the lines Sandstorm wants.

I THOUGHT that name sounded familiar!

From Taylor Sif to Alice Krige.

BTW, how do we know it's spelt Alice Krueger and not Alice Kruge, since that would be pronounced as Krueger (just like Krige is pronounced Kriger)?
