Transformers Jazz shorter than Bumblebee??? Height confirmations:

You will be happy with whatever Bay puts out...don't lie.
you will hate it no matter what......

if i didnt like something id say it...... just like i tried to improve on megatron a bit

For some reason- despite the foreknowledge- Wolvie in the movie never *felt* like he was the height Hugh Jackman is in real life. Sure, he wasn't Danny Devito... but Singer shot those movies very well. He never felt "tall." Same reason Tom Cruise never looks like the midget he is in real life.

However, this isn't about cinematography and camera tricks... this is about Jazz purposely BEING a midget and BB being huge (relatively). The completely unfaithful adaptation that just shows an utter disregard for the spirit of the source material.
not sure what you mean by the top part because i always saw him as huge.... everytime he talked to cyclops hes always looking down.

but anyways.... how do we know they wont shoot it like singer made( ) wolvie small?...... its just an assumption.

but whocares..... the robots are still huge and its the personalities that make them not the size

I aligned the bottom of their feet for a more accurate comparison.

I've been optimistic about this movie until I saw Starscream and Megatron. I voice my dislike for those two designs...how will I hate the movie no matter what based on that? You assume too much.

The point is is that they lied to us about the reason to make Prime a longnose. That means they fed us BS just to shut us up. What else will they lie about to shut us up?

Ok, this I don't get.

I like Megatron being bigger than everybody else, but why is Jazz a midget (sorry, "little robot"). I just can't find a reason for that other than his alt mode being a smaller car, which is something they could easly avoid by choosing a different car.

I'm not pissed about it (I got better things to do than get pissed about these things), but this just sounds a little random to me.

That comment just earned you several days probation Lone

OK. As for why they didn't make Bumblebee the Solstice, Spike can't afford the damn thing!! He buys Bumblebee (in beat up '70s Camaro mode) for $4000!! Can anyone name another car in GM's line-up that has, not only, an older version that a 16 year-old boy with $4000 would buy, but also a sweet new design that a 16 year-old boy would love to have. Now, since GM provided all the other vehicles for the Autobots, the Solstice in the only likely choice for Jazz, well either that or a Corvette or Cadillac XLR. Remember, Jazz was a Porsche, quite exotic, and the Solstice is deffinatly the most exotic looking car in GM's product line.

Good job, Shinobi. And thanks for showing us why they shouldn't base that robot forms in this movie on the G1 toys. I mean, just look at poor Ironhide.

Actually ratchet's g1 toy was the same mold as ironhide. So poor ratchet too. I just found another ratchet toy pic that seemed better.

Damn jazz got owned. 13 feet. man...

Yeah, well, in all honesty, the Porsche 911 is not that big of a car. Even when compared to a VW Bug.

Easy. The Solstice is beat-up, barely drives... and is freakin possessed!... the owner just wants to get rid of it as the random radio coming on is driving him crazy and he can't seem to fix it.

Spike/Sam has to practically push it off the guys property. But, he's confident he can "fix it up."

A 4-cyl Solstice is totally Bumblebee. Not a 6 or 8-cyl muscle car hot-rod.
And, Jazz ain't a little bot either.
Say what you want about "adapting" this story... but this just a plain idiotic and completely unfaithful decision by the writers.

Have you read the script, how Bumblebee meets Spike? And what do you mean Jazz isn't a little bot?? He was a Datsun 260 Z, that's a small car. And sine for the movie they aren't allowing any of the Transformers to magically grow in size like they did in the cartoon, he would stay kinda small. Now, does it bother me he's shorter than Bumblebee, very little. can live with it.

I thought he was Porshe.

My mistake, he was a Porsche, I was thinking of Prowl/Bluestreak. Sorry, but still a small car. about the same size actually.

More fuel to the Short Prime fire. They said as a flat nose Prime would be 20-25 feet tall. Ironhide is a pickup truck and is 26. Pickup truck/= bigger than a semi.

I thought Bay said the robots would be 40-50 feet ?

Maybe they made Jazz the smallest to justify
killing him off
???

I think they made Jazz the smallest, because, the best car they could get to suit him, just happens to be a very small car.

(Not against Orko, just putting this out there) And I am certain they had to go with the Solstice, because all of the Autobots are GM products. Show me another GM car that is more exotic.

I fail to understand your logic. Bay flat out told the public that he made Prime a long-nosed truck BECAUSE the robots would be 40-50 feet.

Prime is 28 feet. He's a little more than half the size of what Bay said.

I don't see why all of the Autobots have to be GM cars. There should be some diversity.
