Actually, your anger is misdirected. Hasbro, the creators of the Transformers, had final say on the designs. Blame them.

Are you kidding??? While I have no doubt that Hasbro had "final say" since they eventually have to create molds that actually transform and do stuff, they were first and foremost designed by Bay and his people.

I'm certian that while Bay & co. were designing things, Hasbro was hovering over their shoulders. but they had final say. Which means that even if Bay & co. had taken G1 designs to them, Hasbro would have shot them down. And why is it, that when people constantly have negative come back to everything soeone says, and that person gets upset, they're the bad guy. You ease up, I'll chill out.

but what you are doing is assuming that Hasbro could care less about this product....remember they couldnt release the names of the robots until it was cleared thru Hasbro. This is Hasbro's cash cow and if they didnt like a design I guarantee they had veto power.

I don't doubt that. I never said Bay rammed the designs through their throats. I do believe Hasbro had final say...
(although... who knows? TOHO had "final say" also with Godzilla 98... and it came to light later that Emmerich and Devlin rammed their Godzilla down TOHO's throat- "take it or leave it" style).

But, to say that Hasbro is responsible for the designs so as to blame them instead of Bay and his artists is wrong I think. This is obviously designed by Bay's people, not Hasbro.
