The Dark Knight Jerry Robinson to be an advisor on TDK

That Joker would be real terrorist, but I like it.

I'm not agreed with you about fighting with Batman. Joker will be unpredictable and he can use everything as the weapon against Batman.

But still, Batman will be much more poerful than Joker.

I'd heard that they submitted the script to certain DC Writers for approval. I wish every comic-film director would do the things Nolan does. These movies are in great hands.
I agree, that is why BB was such a huge success. The writers and director are Batman fans. They know what makes Batman popular and understand fans' obsession with him and what he represents in the superhero world. They respect the comics which is why they consult the writers of the comics.

Its almost as if Singer didnt like and respect Superman enough to figure out what fans wanted and expected to see. Looked like he took on the project just for notority which is why Singers Superman turned out to be a movie Superman instead of a comic book Superman.
I didnt want some directors vision of Superman I wanted Superman.

Joker should only get the upperhand fighting Batman because he is a dirty fighter.

WEll what I meant was that maybe he could land a couple but I think he should really be a match for batman by using all the weapons he can. Afterall when he first appeared he was a physical match for batman, so I think he should be a physical match but only using weapons mostly hand weapons. Afterall we already saw batman beating the crap out of nicholson's joker so it would be boring to see the same thing. This time joker should be able to counter attack without the need of henchmen.on a side note: It would be cool if joker sends henchmen to Gordon's house meanwhile gordon is on the job. The henchmen would go to kill his family, but as they go in for the kill, they stumble with batman, and a great fight ensues. Batman against three or four ex-arkham inmates, four psychos, each one with a different long edged weapon. Fighting in a tight enviroment like the living room.

Great news! I want to put myself into suspended animation until spring of 08. :)

I have to say I love the fight in B89. It was one of only a few moments Jack ever seemd like Joker from the comics. When he punches Batman and it hurts his fist. Also when he puts the glasses on amd asks if he would hit a guy with glasses, I loved it. Then he got dirty and stomped all over Batmans hands to make him fall while still craking jokes. I would like to see some of this but also maybe some big cheap shots that pay off for Joker. Normaly he would get his ass handed to him, and he does still, but he gets some good dirty shots in to knock Batman off balance. Then of course Batman would come back and destroy him lol.

ONE THING TO REMEMBER. Batman fights so quick these days, with the new fight coreographer (spelling). I can't see how Joker could possibly keep up with him and still seem like the Joker we know. Joker can't really fight so Batman moving like a cheetah in the shadows would knock him out in all reality before Joker even knew whay hit him. Do you want to see Joker fight quick like Ra's and Batman do? He's not a ninja or trained to fight or anything. How would the fighting work?

That's the thing, you weren't able to see batman's moves because you were seeing it from a victims POV, but in this one I hope they change that because if the fight between batman and the joker ends up looking like the fight between batman and ras in the train in batman bagins then we're doomed. Joker has never been portrayed really as a match for batman physically speaking, however his first portrayal showed that he could match batman to certain point. I don'twant the joker fighting like and expert martial artist and Iam sure nolan would never do that. But since in batman 89 joker didn't really used weapons, this joker heath's joker could use some weapons This is the chance to show a raw sadistic joker. We don't need to see batman bleeding or anything but joker could hit him with so many things that could hurt batman badly(this new joker is a younger and more athletic version) that it will help to further show batman's strenth ,determination and stamina when he gets up all bruised and kicks joker's ass to oblivion. It will help to demonstrate how much of a badass bats is. Joker could hit him with, lets say a crowbar or a bat(I would prefer the sledgie) and batman goes down, joker thinks he's dead or unconsious only to have batman stand up enraged and leap at the joker like he did to that ninja in BB.

As stated in "The Man who Laughs", The Joker moves quicker and reacts faster than Batman does, to the point where he even caught Batman off-guard.

Not to mention The Joker is fearless, meaning he can keep a level head(or somewhat level head) in a combat scenario against a man in a bat costume. And without the fear, Batman's effectiveness is at least dropped 50%. He would have to depend solely on his training to stop him.

And another thing, just because he received ninja training, doesn't mean he is the uber mich. He can be hurt. He can be broken. He's not invicible. He can be taken out with a single bullet or a well placed hit. It's not that far out there that The Joker can take on Batman, especially considering that he is an unpredictable madman. He takes no concern of pain, which increases his endurance. Batman can wail on him and he'll just keep on coming, usually with one of his sinister tricks up his sleeve, like a knife, gun or crow bar.

Or maybe just his fists.

If Batman is a man, then he is failable and not so impervious to The Joker's attacks as you may believe.

Victims POV, my ass. Does the average victim SEE himself getting his ass kicked from the outside, a la a Near Death Experience?

As for the news, I love the Joker, and making some elements of THE DARK KNIGHT like the earlier stories is a nice move (albeit an obvious one, ditto touching on Five Way Revenge elements)...but meh. Robinson helped create and shape The Joker, right? So methinks he's made his contribution. So just exactly what will Jerry Robinson bring to THE DARK KNIGHT that can't be gleaned from the earlier comics or later versions of The Joker? Can they not read the fairly straightforward Joker stories Robinson and others wrote and created...and figure out the character?

Why the "consultants", exactly? Can WB, the Nolans, Goyer and company not get what they need from the comics themselves? Almost seems like they're trying to buy credibility for some reason. Nah.

Remember...Bob Kane "consulted" on BATMAN & ROBIN.
