JL Casting Call Update

We got no clue on who has the most lines. Heck Aquaman man may have more lines than Superman, simply based on an OMAC taking control of him.....

If it was between Gale and Lima, Im going with Gale...

What are you................gay?! We want to see Lima in WW costume! It has nothing to do with acting! :cmad:

Yeah, I'd go with Gale too.

I wouldn't mind having both of them. If you know what I mean. :cwink:

Ditto i would prefer Gale as Wonder woman over Lima on looks only.

but i would take Lima over Hammer as Batgirl :o :woot:

Im sorry if I want this movie to be at its best of its ability, and the last time I check Megan Gale is a very attractive woman, with some acting, something that Lima, can say....

Don't tell me you think Megan is more attractive than Adriana. Or is it just in terms of WW? :yay:

:o My name is not George Miller :o :woot:

Since, it was either Variety or HR that claimed Warner execs were unsure how to proceed with JLA due to the strike here is an update. Not sure if this has been posted, if so, sorry.

Talks hit pause button
Negotiations will resume on Tuesday
By DAVE MCNARY

With the writers strike in its fourth week, the companies on Thursday put forth what they consider to be a "groundbreaking" proposal -- and the writers have blasted it.

On the fourth day of closed-door negotiations both sides lifted the news blackout as the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers unveiled its proposal that would deliver more than $130 million in additional compensation to scribes over three years.

The WGA rejected the math and dubbed the proposal both a "massive rollback" and a "bad deal."

Both sides have agreed to continue negotiations on Tuesday. They agreed that a four-day moratorium was needed for the WGA to mull the offer, but the guild issued its terse, point-by-point deconstruction of the deal points only hours after adjourning.

The guild's reaction will undoubtedly add to the town's pessimism that time's running out for the WGA to make a deal and that the AMPTP may turn soon to negotiations with the DGA instead. AMPTP insiders were irked that the WGA initially showed scant interest in the sweetened package of new-media proposals with one noting, "The WGA is not budging."

I think that's supposed to be $130 millon over 3 years (or about $43 million a year). As a comparison, last year the writers got $52 million. It think they are getting short changed and you don't have to belive me here. Just look at their statement on their website.

George Miller is a legend, Maze. Watch what you say. :oldrazz:
I'll have to go 'Mr. Brooks' on your arse. :woot:

Geez man. I was only kidding.

And as far as this movie "be at its best of its ability" not going to happen. This is the WB we are talking about. They'll f it up some kind of way.

I don't know. They've been doing pretty well with comic book movies lately, imo.

Oh and regard to Armie being Bats, since Palmer is Talia, she is also 21, so far as relationships go, their the same age....

They've only done 2 movies. Constantine and 300 don't count cuase they are not truly DC. BB I can understand but you can argue about SR only becuase of what they did to Supes. They turned him into everything he's against. So............the jury is still out if they have indeed turned the table. :o

Constantine is DC. So is V For Vendetta. That's 4. Also, The Dark Knight and Watchmen both seem to be turning out alright.

V for Vendetta and Constantine are Vertigo which is a sub thing for DC but..............still different. And you are right, TDK and Watchmen seem to be going in the right direction. But you have to ask yourself, would you rather see Watchmen over Flash, GL, or even the freakin Atom? Those characters have yet to see the big screen yet.

Still under the Time-Warner umbrella. There is no difference.

Actually, John Constantine has actually mixed with the 'main' DC characters. He had a relationship with Zatanna, in case you didn't know. He does have a connection the main DC universe. V, I agree with, but it's not like Vertigo is a whole other company like Marvel or Dark Horse.

Yes, I would rather see Flash and GL instead of Watchmen.
