Those two were hanging out because Adam Brody(Wally west) is a friend of Topher Grace. Theresa Palmer(Talia) is dating Topher Grace.

Yet another day almost gone and nothing offical from the big WB water tower. Only 35 days left to the sound of Miller saying the magic word....ACTION! Or Maybe he says: WHO THE HELL PICKED THIS CAST!!!!

Well, at least we know the costume are getting made right? Could we have a sneak peak at those before they announce the cast? I hope so!

Me too! I hope they stay as close to the comic book feel as they can, with out going X-Men style and bring in black leather. Super Heros need to look SUPER and I don't think it will be that tough to stay true the look and still give the live action feel. At least I hope so.

LOL. Actually, I wasn't being entirely serious with that comment. I was pretty disappointed after I first saw Spider-Man 3(especially since I loved the first 2). However, I received the movie as a gift this Xmas, and I have watched it a couple of more times, and I must say, the movie is definitely growing on me. Still too convoluted and too many wtf moments but its decent overall.

Okay...where do I start??

I did do some digging and though I haven't heard back from my friend yet, I have been told by a handful of people that Jay Baruchel will be a young Max Lord. One person however went against the grain and suggested that he is actually Flash and that Adam Brody was a false rumor. We'll have to wait and see on that one.

As for the constant 2010 comments, it is because this film was to come out after Man of Steel and no "official" announcement has been made postponing MOS yet. Thus, 2009 is still unofficial. However, it is being slated for early summer 2009 (in June if remember correctly).

Still nothing on the renewed negotiations with Welling. Still no comment from his agents as well. If WB feels they need one big fan favorite to ensure success, this has to be it. I can't see anyone else that has been rumored being a "fan favorite". And I just don't see a 6'8" Superman (Coudmore) and a 6'5" Batman (being 21 years old) working in any way at all.

i don't understand how Miller (a very good director) can have a top notch technical team like that and have practically all the the rumored casting choice so uninspiring (minus umo Common , Brody , and to an extent Gale because she "seems" like a good fit)

yea pretty much out of all the names we heard for roles looks like john stewart green lantern if he is being played by common will be the oldest out of the bunch being 35.

Well i'm not so worried about ages.

Reeve was 24 when he was cast as Superman ..but he looked like a man unlike some of those guys who are older than him that when he was cast..

oh well..
