JL Casting Call Update

Yea i agree with you guys he does have more of a superman look then batman. Still not who i would have wanted for either of the roles. But since miller's version isnt likely to happen at all we dont have to worry about it. Now if the film comes back later this yr or a later time hopefully the right director and the right cast is picked so the film is good and not crappy.

That could use Lindo's voice for MM, while the character himself is CGI. Just like what they did with Silver Surfer in F4. Doug Jones did CGI motion of him, while Laurence Fishburne voiced him.
Doug Jones was on the set with a makeup suit on, the way they should do Martian Manhunter.

New promo pic of Armie Hammer in Billy: The Early Years the movie he's currently shooting.Martin Landau and Lindsay Wagner are his costars.

There's also some shots of him posing on the set in between takes.

His lips are soo wrong for Superman, but right for Batman..:woot: His lips remind me of Keaton's. Besides, it doesn't matter if someone kinda looks the part, they also need to have The Presence, the 'magic' in order for us to really believe they are 'it,' otherwise, it's like an empty shell. :csad:

Thats a great shot of Hammer, I could honestly see him as Superman or Batman.

I said this twice yesterday he looks nice and all but still not who i would have wanted to play superman or batman for jla.

I was just wondering could any one take that promo shot of hammer and do a manip with him having black hair just so we can see what he looks like with black hair.

Thanks, I was tinkering with that myself in photoshop...is that what you used yourself? If so, what did you use (brush, settings, etc).
Still fumbling through alot of that program. I have ways to accomplish certain looks, filters or whathave you, but always looking for better.

Have to say in that one picture he really has a good Superman look, but others I've seen of him not so much.

HEy man thanks for doing manip. I do agree with you guys he does have a better face for superman and with his height he got that down too. But as i said before personally nothing against him as a actor but not who i would want to have for either bats and supes.

WOW! :wow:

Hammer would actually be great! Either for Superman or Batman!

Thanks for the info, I have just upgraded from 7 to CS3. I have been reading alot in regards to the burn tool and have started using it more lately. (trying to brushen up my skills for an online comic I'm putting together).

That one looks good, but yeah the head/neck area need some tweaking...good job nonetheless. Did you do the original body manip. I've seen that one floating around and like the belt design alot.

^ I don't really see Arnie as Superman or Batman, but really super great job with the manips.

Arnie kind of has a Brendon Frasier look to him

Really? I always thought he just did CGI body movement, not wear makeup suit at all. I wish there is a video or some pics of him in it. I'm curious to see it.

And as for Armie in tv show, let say "Arrested Development" & "Veronica Mars" as example. Of course, that's just me. ;)

i see him more of a superman than a batman....

Gah!! He look almost like Tom Welling there. :wow:

Haven't you seen the movie? In his depowered form, that's Jones in a make-up suit without any CGI enhancements.

:o

SHE was up, up and away as part of the cast of the beleaguered Justice League of America, but Teresa Palmer's film fortunes have transformed again.

While her Justice role as baddie Talia al Ghul is seemingly in a permanent holding pattern, the talented Aussie actress, pictured, has apparently landed a role in the Transformers sequel, Transformers 2. Her casting follows an Aussie theme for director Michael Bay. The blockbuster auteur cast another Aussie, Rachael Taylor, in the first live-action Transformers feature and the Tassie actress has been busy ever since, appearing in the Alan Rickman drama Bottle Shock and more recently Deception with Michelle Williams.
Palmer, too, has been busy of late, moving swiftly from the postponed George Miller-directed Justice League to star opposite Adam Sandler in Bedtime Stories.

If you see these actors/actresses lining up other parts, the writing is on the wall that this movie is canceled or delayed significantly.

Agreed. A 2009 release date is seemingly out of the picture, that leaves a 2010 release. Problem is, talk has been heating up on MOS for release in 2010 and I don't see WB releasing two different live action Superman related films in the same year. And 2011 will mostly be BB3.
